Slow down! Yes this song is great but...Charlie Daniels Band, Alabama, Kentucky Head Hunters, the Outlaws just to name a few are great country bands. Stones are NOT a country band. They're a ROCK band! Rock on Dude!

This is the best sounding Stones I've heard from this tour. Excellent! My friends formed a band back late 70's in Austin when it was the real deal. They turned us on to so many good songs and Dead Flowers was one of the 2 or 3 less known Stones songs they did. Always great.

He was the opening act for this show I read down in the comments. Mick is still a Master at picking the support band and just the right artist to duet with on just the right Stones tune from their VAST catalog of music. The MASTER

@ecojot8502
@ecojot8502 2 ай бұрын
@@ericbgordon1575 soloing requires that you play chord tones over chord tones. This song is a basic D, A, and G major chord progression and if you listen carefully you'll notice that he's not doing that (which is bizarre after doing this song for 50 years). He'd be better off just noodling in D major pentatonic - at least the notes would fit.

Way to talk by someone who didn't even see them live this tour, but it's your own fault if you wanna miss their greatness, they STILL are the greatest live band in the world, Mick and even Keith are moving more than bands who're 30-40 years younger...Steve is an amazing drummer and nothing ended with Charlie or otherwise they wouldn't still be out there touring and recording, if you wanna see Mick T then go watch old DVDs

@@lala9498 1) I'm a huge RS fan, since they first came to the US 2) I've seen them multiple times over the years (including Shanghai 2003) 3) I've watched many videos of the 2024 tour 4) Steve J is very good but he simply does not have the cadence or snap of Watts 5) They move GREAT.. for 80 year-olds.. but they ARE 80 year-olds, the music is SLUGGISH now, and they use NUMEROUS off-stage back-up singers AND musicians. Hey, I'm not denying you or anyone else a great time- but these guys are MILKING it now with these massive Stadium shows... they should be playing small venues and stop trying to wiggle their fannies like teeangers.
