He's such a talent. Fun music, great singer, song writer, dancer.

Early 70s was one of their peaks in popularity. Their best music was coming out then. I think early to mid 80s also. I remember the huge show they played at the LA coliseum in 81 after the release of Tattoo You which was a big hit album with Start Me Up etc. Zepp were done by then so The Stones were the biggest act at that time.

Their best was in the 60s. They've been running on fumes of all sorts ever since then.

Nothing like the Stones in their prime. Their best work came out during this time. Most albums didn’t have one dog - each song a masterpiece. Cavity barely scratched the surface. Great interview.

They really shouldn't have used a laugh track on this... It comes off strange and generic since we all know they were basically backstage at a concert and you literally see that they were in a small curtained off area at the start of the interview....lol!

What kind of hairdo is Jagger wearing? It looks like a helmet.

Typical Brit haircut from the 70's. Check out early David Bowie hair. Later, punk rock bands started a wave of shaved heads and face piercings. And the Stones kept their haircuts and outlasted everyone from that decade.

Cavett is such a drab interviewer. No excitement, no passion, absolutely no interesting questions, idk how he got by so long. 😊

Cavett was the best around!!! Maybe you prefer the Big Mouth Millennial Turkeys of Today👎🏻

@@roberthuber3518 Yes, agreed. I mean he wasn't perfect by any stretch, but he knew how keep things moving, while still giving them a chance to say their piece, and then on top of it was able to ask questions that were open ended enough that if a person *felt* like going on a tangent, they had room and prompt to do so - just, often times they chose not to. Unfortunately he would still interrupt his own process sometimes, or try to lead the person to an emotion, rather than letting them fully speak for themselves.

Cavett is a smart guy. Not your type of interviewer.

That was why he lasted: his personality was easily overshadowed by his guests, making *them* the focus of attention. *They* were the entertainment. Today's talk show presenters all want to be the center of attention, and the guests are simply a distraction.
