@@frank19593 The Stones never had more than one drummer. A lot of bands as they age they get a backup drummer as the original starts to slow down. Charlie was holding his own until the end. RIP!

@@frank19593 Now on that stage I see two guitars, a bass, drums, and Mick. That's about the only musicians you can hear (minus keys). There is not five guitarists and two bass players, four keyboardists. It's still the core of their sound as really five individuals and nothing more. I miss live bands who were not so polished and didn't need as large of a crew to make a big sound. Stones still sound like rock and roll even after all these years. Future bands could learn a lot from them.

Ok, we all rocked with the stones, we had icons then, none now. I thank mick most for talking PRINCE to open for him at his start of career. Prince got food, weapons, glass thrown at him immediately, told mick, he couldn't do another nite, THANK GOD, he convinced him to endure the next nite which opened a few eyes. The rest is history. Jagger said he knew he saw brilliance , need I say more.

Remember, Steve Jordan has worked with The Stones before. He played on some tracks from the album "Dirty Work", when Charlie Watts was out of action due to a hard core drug problem.

Tremenda cancion Gimme Shelter, una de mis preferidas de los Rolling, y da gusto seguir viéndoles , pero se nota mucho la batería de Charlie Watts, tengo que decir que mi álbum favorito de los Rolling , y es muy difícil decir uno, me gusta en especial desde Let it Bleed hasta Some gIrls, la mejor epoca de los Rolling para mi gusto , y canciones del principio como Paint in Black o Shes a Rainbow y tantas mas.......pero Blue and Lonesome me parece lo mejor que han hecho Los Rolling Stones desde los 70 y quizas el mejor disco de todos y yo creo que es porque Los Rolling Stones cuando tocan blues lo hacen para mi gusto, incluso mejor que todos los grandes bluesman, que pena que en toda su discografia hay tan poco de blues, hay muchos temas por ahi sueltos , pero es que para mi...... ahi se salen , y para terminar Bill Wiman pudo ser sustituido , pero el toque de Charlie Watts , es tan especial , recuerdo en los 80.s, cuando se puso de moda las baterías sonido pop lata horrible , quizás el fue de los pocos que jamás sucumbió a ninguna moda y de echo para mi si Mick es el gancho, Keith el gran compositor junto a Mick, Charlie era su corazón , su sello especial , yo lo dejaría ya y como ultimo álbum ,Blue and Lonesome es una gran despedida , y si van a seguir yo me dedicaría al Blues , porque no he oído nunca el blues como lo hacen los Rolling y a su edad si podrían tocar blues y seguir dándonos buena música, pero lo dicho Charlie es irreemplazable , ya no suenan igual .....en cualquier caso ...Larga vida a Los Rolling Stones ....por cierto Mick Jagger tocando la harmonica es muy especial y le he visto algún blues junto a Jeff Beck y eso es la gloria......porque no harán un disco de blues Jeff Beck con Mick Jagger,? son buenísimos......y ya que he mencionado a Jeff Beck diria que le pasa algo parecido a Los Rolling , en toda su discografía hay muy poco blues , sin embargo cuando toca un blues lo hace como nadie.

At the end of the day, none of the tour singers come close to Merry Clayton. She made this song what it is. However, was at the recent Atlanta show and was more impressed with Sasha than Keith’s guitar playing.

Agree. You could put the 5 best drummers ever in Charlie's seat and they wouldn't sound like him. Some people you can't replace. No disrespect to Jordan at all, he is a fine drummer but none of us are used to seeing the Stones without Charlie backing them up.

@@rockinvida1960 Showed a doctor friend a picture of Keith’s gnarled middle finger on his right hand, and he diagnosed pretty bad arthritis. It’s amazing he’s playing on.
