@@frank19593 The Stones never had more than one drummer. A lot of bands as they age they get a backup drummer as the original starts to slow down. Charlie was holding his own until the end. RIP!
@benkleschinsky

@@frank19593 Now on that stage I see two guitars, a bass, drums, and Mick. That's about the only musicians you can hear (minus keys). There is not five guitarists and two bass players, four keyboardists. It's still the core of their sound as really five individuals and nothing more. I miss live bands who were not so polished and didn't need as large of a crew to make a big sound. Stones still sound like rock and roll even after all these years. Future bands could learn a lot from them.

Anybody who says the Stones ain't as good as they used to be is full of shit !!! These wonderful people are as good now as they ever were maybe better !!! Dammit y'all !!! Bringin' that MF'n house downnnnn !!! All around you. Total package I mean .... Vocals,lights,guitars,and the bells and whistles !!! Wish I was there because when y'all play that good it makes it easier for a steam roller like me to start rubbing up on some of that so fine little miss nasty one jumpin' around in the crowd and dancin' to that righteous music coming from the footsteps of heaven !!!

At the end of the day, none of the tour singers come close to Merry Clayton. She made this song what it is. However, was at the recent Atlanta show and was more impressed with Sasha than Keith’s guitar playing.

Agree. You could put the 5 best drummers ever in Charlie's seat and they wouldn't sound like him. Some people you can't replace. No disrespect to Jordan at all, he is a fine drummer but none of us are used to seeing the Stones without Charlie backing them up.

If this band can push this thing into their 90's it could mean that 100+ might become the norm for all of us. Think and grow rich? How about think and grow old. If anyone can be on stage at 100 it's going to be Mick Jagger. He's ageless!
