The fireworks were for a wedding that was held at the Sausalito Yacht Club. We get an even bigger display for 4th July and another in early December after the holiday Lighted Boat Parade.

That fog.... Was waiting for some dramatic music and a spaceship to fly out. Enjoyed the guitar and singing. Should still be somewhat of a seller's market I would think. After all the boats destroyed the last couple years by the hurricanes I would think there is still a bit of a shortage of good used boats. Good luck. Hopefully we will find out next update that you are getting a bigger boat to do some blue water trips.

My memories of Sausalito were from late 1950's. I remember a grocery store with a dock on the water. We tied up our boat and did out shopping and continued up to the Sacramento River for the summer. It is silly the things you remember from your childhood. Now the big question everyone will ask, why are you selling the sailboat and what are your plans?

That’s quite the abrumpt jump from Sausalito to the Sea of Cortez, so I guess there are a bunch of episodes in between that have yet to be edited and released. The Mexico cruising season is November to May. Even in the Sea of Cortez, it is wicked hot in the summer, so people either do the bash back up to CA for the summer or put the boat on the hard and then come back to it in November, which is what is often called commuter cruising for those who can afford to do that.

Well that was shocker first nice video, and great subject material. Knowing that video release and real life are separated by days, weeks and sometime months this was great. Now selling Xanadu wow again life happens and now we are waiting for the next shoe to drop regarding what will happen in the next phase of your lives? Tif will start a singing career Landon will crew an offshore crabbing boat? Re open the Photo Studio and Fabrication Business? Buy a newer boat and continue cruising? Hmmm only time will tell.

I wish they wouldn't have left us hanging. Maybe sailing hasn't been the perfect platform for their travels. There have been others that changed from a sailboat to other forms. They might have read a book that gave them an idea for a different mode of transportation. If they start talking about Around The World In 80 Days a hot air balloon may be in their future.

Definatially sad news if you are packing it in. Hopefully it's for greener pastures and not because of any sort of bad news. Wednesdays are gonna feel empty without you. Please if you do leave at least give us a lessons learned or maybe what we would have done differently episode it might help someone else that's thinking of starting cruising or a channel. You dont owe anyone anything but you asked us into your lives and I for one would hate to be shut out wondering why.
