For a while now, ARB, an Australian company known for its tough and simple gear, has been stepping up its design game. Last year, they impressed everyone with a cool kitchen for camping, and this year, they've brought something new to rooftop tent camping. Their latest creation, the Altitude, is a hardshell tent loaded with features you usually find in RVs. These include an electric lift system, a special step ladder, and built-in lights that turn off automatically.
Just like they did with their Earth trailer, ARB didn't want to make just another basic rooftop tent. They aimed to create a cozy and convenient space for spending nights outdoors. One of their main goals was to make setting up and packing away the tent super easy and quick.
Even though the crew still needs to set up the ladder, it's not a hassle. The ladder folds neatly and is stored in its own compartment in the roof. It's a special kind of ladder with wide steps and railings for safety, making it easy to climb up and down.
