Those are so cute - I would have proudly worn them in the 70's (as well as today). Great job!

Love a pinwhale. Every once in a while, we get one in the store near me that sells fabric. It is SO PRETTY!

I love them now!! This fabric was so nice to sew and it's lovely to wear! And I've seen some really pretty prints in pinwhale! 😍

Well done! They look super comfy and also a brilliant idea for adding the pockets (every outfit should have pockets!)😊

I agree! All clothing needs pockets!

Happy to see that you made one of these, I know you will enjoy wearing it, so comfy! I made five similar ones, different fabrics, 2 for occasion, 1 light denim, 2 for summer. Every time I leave the house I reach out for them. Have fun in London ❤

I may just have to follow your example and make a couple in different fabrics! I love them so much! And so easy to wear! Thank you 😊

don't wear them with open toed shoes or pointy shoes because they will get caught up in the opposite leg and you will trip. Take it from one who tripped.

Very cute! And they would be great in linen for the warmer seasons.

Oh wouldn't they! I was tossing up between the cord and a lighter cotton, but I figured the weightier fabric would stand up to English winter better!! 😂

Oh, they definitely will! I love 70s fashion. Every time I look at vintage patterns, those are the ones I go for. I’m sure it’s because the late 70s was when I first came into my “womanhood” and started looking at fashionable clothes. We had some sexy stuff going on back then, lol. I still don’t know why people are now looking at the 80s as cute. The clothes weren’t bad, but the hair, not so much! Men’s clothes were good though. I did love the Miami Vice look on them!

Hahaha 80's hair was definitely a bold look!!

Recently discovered your channel and I love your energy, you radiate sunshine ! Love how the pants came out too :) Are you planning on making any other videos on your studies ? I saw the one about your first month in fashion design and I found it really interesting. I am considering taking back studying to learn more about sewing and costuming, as I'd love to build my own wardrobe and be able to turn into a witch/elf/hobbit/fairy/etc !

Thank you! That is one of the nicest compliments ever!! I wasn't able to complete the course I was doing back then due to work, but I am currently studying in a different area of fashion/costuming and definitely planning on making some more videos about it 😊 But I highly encourage you to study, learning is never wasted and if you get a witchy, hobbity, elfy and fairy wardrobe out of it, so much the better!! 😍

I pinked them! Not sure it was the best solution for this fabric, but I just got new pinking shears that I really wanted to try! 😂

In the KZbin-verse of Rachel Maksy these are called secret pants. I love my pair. I think we sexist should make enough of these that they become the trend.
