Just 13 minutes in and I ‘m invested. I like the FL who already has the instincts to protect those she likes from misunderstandings. I like the writers/director who is giving us a perspective of the MLs mom and FLs guardian. I like the person who is doing a good job of translating and preserving the story. I like the pacing so far. There are other clever choices and I am happy to continue.

I know I comment because Ive watched some horrible dramas that have really upset me and ive appreciated comments in the past warning me. If im warned that the drama has no ending then I can watch and not me annoyed when it suddenly ends with no conclusion. If there is abuse or misogyny I can skip it. Believe it or not I think even comments criticising are helpful. I appreciate other commenters who warn me of what to expect so I dont have to waste 2.5 hours and emotion on something that will leave me annoyed or disturbed. Without a way to curate what I want to watch I'd probably stop watching Cdramas completely.

Zhou Shengwen is not just handsome but very manly as well the FL not bad id like to see him paired up with more experience actress like Meng Na for example the FL is weak and this has a lot of cliche in it if you marry a man like the ML I promise you'd be all over him just saying lol I think it would of been better if she got stronger within the story then maybe more people would of liked it I do love the ML mother it's not the worst but not the best worth watching if you like the ML 😊....

I cant recommend this one. Pretty sure it's an AI script. In order to follow every cliche possible there are so many plotholes and inconsistencies. Halfway through her ex has to remind her that the ml abandoned her and went drinking when her grandparents died! How did she forget that and mary him for the whole first part of the movie?! FL has no character whatsoever. In the first 30 mins ML has to answer and speak up for her everytime she is spoken to. Was she supposed to be a mute in some previous version of the script? Even when her ex says some heinous shit about her dead parents she doesnt even get mad. She just wanders off! If youve got the time and the ability to turn off your brain, go for it. Otherwise dont waste your time

I love the main couple. Wish ML would have cleared up misunderstandings before instead of being manipulative at the beginning.
