Thank you for reacting to The Rose again! For those who didn’t read the description, this mv isn't the original but is still amazingly beautiful. The reason for this was due to the set design using Jonghyun's instagram photo without permission. A lot of shawols were hurt by this and wanted to know "why his photos were used/did they have permission/ why is depression linked to Jonghyun." Overall, with respect of those upset over the original it was removed. Nevertheless, I am a proud Black Rose! The Rose wrote an amazing song and mini album that is about comforting those who are in the rain and I will always support!

I think it's kinda cool that you guys described this song as "safe" given the theme of the song, the lyrics being directed to people that are in the rain and telling them that they'll stay with them and, in a sense, make them feel a bit more safer and secure. I might be reading (or listening?) too much into it, but I guess in the same way the music doesn't go anywhere, the narrator/singer, the one directing their words to the one in the rain, won't go anywhere either. so in maintaining the constant and stable musicality of the song, i guess it can be argued that it reflects the intention of wanting to be a stable presence for the listener as well? I also liked how once they brought in the "we're in the rain" in the lyrics, you hear the beautiful louder harmony + adlibs kick in, driving home how now, both of them are in the rain :') i never really thought about these things until watching your reaction, so thanks for uploading this you two!!! and thanks to the black roses that requested they show the sand art lyric video, that shit was beautiful!!

i always comment that i know nothing about music but i know a lot about poetry and while you say it's a safe song i can tell that the lyrics are pretty complex.. the song presents the story of the main character in a certain way, then he sees that girl in the rain and then the song presents her story the same way it did with his (it's a huge parallelism) but then the song develops and suddendly it's like he steps into the rain too so now they both are in the rain. well why am i explaining all of this thats pretty boring and nerd,,, the interesting part is that when it happens, when both of them are in the rain that's when woosung and dojoon's voices start singing together and i really liked what umu said at 4:39 I just found it very interestng and i truly feel it's all conected, they composed it and sang it the way they did in order to tell the story

Maybe just me but as a Black Rose the fact that they didn't listen to the actual lyrics and commented over all of the important lyrics pissed me off. This song is really important and mostly so because of the raw lyrics that touch your heart but you have to actually LISTEN!
