Salut! Alors mon année d'échange avec le rotary date d'il y a 6/7 ans maintenant, mais il me semble qu'à l'époque on pouvait faire des cours par correspondance, mais c'est très fortement déconseillé. Les cours en France prennent beaucoup de temps, surtout niveau lycée et si tu dois faire ces cours-là + les cours dans le pays d'accueil (qui prennent aussi du temps et qui sont en plus en langue étrangère), ça ne laisse pas beaucoup de temps pour profiter de l'échange en lui-même. Après tu peux partir avec le rotary après ton bac pour faire un an de lycée. Mais si tu pars entre ta seconde et ta première ou entre la première et la terminale (assez rare), je pense que le mieux à faire c'est de vraiment compter ça comme une année blanche. À toi de voir :)

I'm from South West ohio actually 😂😂 I really want to travel to 1 of these places: Germany, England, or Japan (Japan mostly) but I'm not sure if I can afford it...

With Rotary, you pay less than other associations. You don't need to pay for host families, you also have pocket money while you're in exchange etc .. You should contact a Rotary club and see if you can try ! :)

Does rotary pay for the exchange or anything cuz my mom won't even think of letting me go unless it pays for it

OhItsXander no they don't. but if you want a fully funded exchange, check out the YES Abroad Program

Rotary covers the tuition, homestay, and you need to pay for flights, insurance, and any spending money
