"I'm convinced there's gonna be a Dark Souls 3 moment, they'll go: your intelligence is not high enough" And that's one of the reasons Sellen is BY FAR my favorite spell teacher in any From game, all DS sorcerer's keep saying things like that, while Sellen not only tries to teach you despite a lack of talent, but is completely open and sincere about her reputation and all. She's way nicer than most other NPCs in these games. Maybe I like her so much because of the voice acting too, the amusement on her voice makes me really comfortable talking to her, it's like when you talk to a good friend. Thinking about it now, the NPCs in Elden Ring are overall way better than in the other games on average.

Dude I have to compliment you on your content. It's really good. After Asmongold threw in the towel with Elden Ring, I searched and found your content. Honestly, it's vastly superior to his. You take the time to explore, read and experience the game. All the while he's crying about the game being too big, but he's trying to speed the game... way too impatient. I will follow this entire serious for sure. Subbed.

Asmon cares way, way too much about what his chat wants him to do. It's a problem with streamers in general, but Asmon is especially bad about it. I much prefer watching gameplays that weren't streamed.
@genesisosuna2 жыл бұрын
That's a problem in the streaming community in general. Streaming to a live audience is a lot more pressuring, and the also having the constant reminder than you need to entertain your audience or you'll lose viewers. I think jerma is easily the best out of all the big streamers, he actually loves the from soft games and hes not just playing for 2 days then completely abandoning it and calling it trash. I mean, the guy spent upwards of 2 hours fighting tree sentinel and there was roughly the same viewers from when he started fighting it to eventually giving up I'm pretty sure. I've said it once before, it's the reason I stopped watching marz entirely. All of the magic from her original playthroughs from early 2018-20 (when I watched her) was lost when she switched to full-time streaming. It broke my heart to stop supporting a creator I enjoyed and supported for such a long time. But there is no enjoyment anymore, at least not for me.
@sarahwolfe11542 жыл бұрын
@@Toksyuryel Agree. I watch this one streamer who streams to 300-400 people when he's playing Elden Ring he asks chat constantly about where to go, how to use items, ect. and he's so bad at the game its hilarious. Always asking chat for help, doesn't understand the games mechanics, he barely has even rolls but somehow he's progressing with chat carrying him. Oh and he plays on M&KB.

I can't get over how the characters they list off in the intro cinematic are just *hanging out* in the hub. It's such a weird, unexpected trope inversion to me. It really hammers home how much of a "newbie" you are when you get to Roundtable Hold and it's like "wait, THE Sir Gideon Offnir? Talking to ME?" What's weird is I swear "D" just... wasn't there, when I got there. I haven't met him yet. I wonder what's different that made him show up. Oh, and "getting carried away off the beaten path"? I spent like 20 hours before actually meeting Margit. I'm at 30 hours now and I still haven't beaten him because I've been too busy in east Limgrave and the southern island and in Caelid. And this is the *small* part of the map. The amount of content is absolutely absurd and I suspect a lot of people never come across major stuff because it's scattered everywhere.
