I love Newcrest. I’m in the process of recreating Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls in that whole town (Miss Patty’s, Doose’s market, Luke’s Diner, the gazebo, the Inn, Lorelai and Rory’s house... I have no life). This build is AMAZING, you are an artist 😍

Ohh so that’s why all the simmers I love don’t upload their build somewhere else I was always so disappointed I couldn’t download them( I’m too young for the gallery and therefore can’t use it you sadly also cant change your age in anyway) Tho I really understand this reason and am fully behind it! American Victorian houses such as these can have extensions out the back but they typically continue with the overall victorian theme as to make it look seamless. Great video!

Oh Devon, you are amazing! I am in love with these grand ladies. Each one tells a beautiful story. My favourite is definitely the yellow one, but the dark blue is also great. I think the yellow one had a homely and warm feeling and the lovely family scene, with mom and daughter swinging, just stole my heart. I build on console and yes, we don't have the gallery. I usually copy your builds to have them in my game. It's painful, but by retracing your steps, I learned some tricks and have become better at builder. Thank you for sharing your wonderful builds and inspiring me.

I think a modern observatory would suit houses like these. I too love modern extensions on older buildings! I love like old brick houses with extensions that are almost only glass, making it super open and light, contrasting with the heavy brick. Also, A LOT of green plants on the roof, walls and everything else!

My favourite extensions are always the ones nearly made entirely of glass, it's a shame we can't really replicate them well in TS4 :(

This is awesome!!!! Play this with the roommates mode.. You simply lock the door, disallowing the others to enter the main doors and you do not control the roommates.

This is Beautiful!💖😊 Im from US , MS and where I live there are alot of historical homes, plantation houses, colonials, victorian homes and some are part of museums. But those that some people live in, I know you cant make modification to the outside structure, due to its historical history. You cant add to the structure like build a modern add on, but you can upgrade inside to it.

Would be cool to play in this. Get a big household made of like an old widow in one, a single sim that maybe never got married in other, a young couple in a third and a family of 4 in the other, and redecorate the last house as an abandoned house with the vampire pack stuff like webs, cracks and all of that with an overgrown garden and backyard. Could make for nice storytelling gameplay

Yes, were I live we have a few streets full of lovely victorian homes and there is one that sticks in my memory that has a lovely modern home addition to it BUT it does not match to well.

Love this build! 😍😍 Always the stunner!!! ❤️❤️ I had actually never heard of the Painted Ladies! But looking them, up, they kind of remind me of these houses in my neighborhood that are all connected (like I think they could be considered one building? I'll need top pop a pic in Discord.) But they are like painted different colors to separate each entrance and I always liked driving by them! My favorite bath tub...is that one from Seasons 😂😂 And I love to actually mix Modern + Contemporary + Industrial aesthetics for my builds (bc you got me obsessed with industrial *shakes fist, but with love*). As for real life, I only have my bedroom and it's not really decorated, but my dream aesthetic is like Bohemian + Modern (MAYBE with tiny hints of Contemporary + Industrial) 😍😍 Hopefully I will have this in my life one day!

Yup, they are called terraced houses in the UK. We have them everywhere and they are so beautiful. I have a street near where I lived and most of the street dates back to the 1600's. Love you Amber bebe xx

Where I'm from in America, and surrounding areas, a lot of the houses in this style are protected by a historical society so making changes beyond paint can be a rather challenging task, or not possible at all.

Its usually the same the world over. Especially in the UK/EU where buildings tend to be 100's if not 1000's of years old.

I watch another KZbinr named Mr. Kate and she is a home designer/renovator. Anyway, if you google “What’s my aesthetic quiz” she has a quiz on her website that tells you how you what your home style is. I am boho, vintage eclectic, and industrial. I build my homes in the sims that way too

We also on the Southeast in Charleston, South Carolina have our own 'Painted Ladies' most likely predating the homes in San Francisco, Ca. But they're gorgeous. You should Google the homes on the Battery also in South Carolina. Along the Riverfront. Preserved mansions from at least 100 years ago. The Crem de la Crem so to speak.
