their may be similar things to pheonix but the royal concept just has a very different vibe, if you listen to on our way and little previews of the new album around the internet, you will see that they have been changing the way they sound to break this "pheonix wall"

Songs like this are from: Two Door Cinema Club, The Strokes, Boy and Bear and Arcade Fire. An other way is to download an Indie Rock Playlist (piratebay?) which gives you many songs, you will like many of them (I hope)

This song is about a stripper that the lead singer met in New York, she loved him and stalked him for some time. He loved her as well, though obviously, it didn't work out.

in my opinion, trc is 10x better than phoenix..but don't get me wrong, i'm a fan of both bands :)
