This group is from Auckland, New Zealand and their founder and many of their members are from Maori and Pacific Island cultures. Many of Auckland’s population identifies as Pacific Islanders and many as indigenous Maori. You can see the cultural influence in their facial expressions and the strong and warrior-like moves. Their choreographer Paris is amazing! They do a lot of music videos and backup dance for many singers among other things The red head is named Kaea Pearce. She's my favorite. She was in Jason Derulos Swalla video and an awards show with J-Lo that I loved. I like to follower her career in particular. I am so glad you found them!

This performance they were just guests they're not competing this year i think they just touring. Parris choregraphed Justin Biebers 'SORRY' videoclup where some of these dancers feature but i can go on. There so much more you can check out going through the years and Royal Family is just a group of the Palace Studio based in Auckland, NZ and founded by our precious Parris who also choregraphed this one. This was our New Zealand Dance Nationals #SDNZ between our secondary schools, (high-schools) there was so much amazing talent shared that night and the Royal Family was the guest appearance. Since their participation on WOD in 2016 & gone viral , Parris Goeble has doing the choreography for ■Rihanna (Fenty shows to her Superbowl halftime show) ■Jennifer Lopez (AMA 2018 to Superbowl halftime with Shakira) ■latest thing Parris got doing: creating her own Nike dunks & those are just the things I remember at this moment There is so much more she & groups of TheRoyalFamily👑 (bc TRF is 1 big overlap, mean by that they have groups within the main group: Sorority crew for example are the youngest 15, 16, 17y , etc.. etc..) And Parris is still very young (think 29 maybe just 30y ) Like , she had a dream & worked her ass of to accomplish it & now she is one of the world most successful choreographer , creative director,... normally for Polynesians in their culture, dancing in groups is traditional doesn’t matter how many people that are in it.. so this came naturally for the choreographer.. Plus they have a huge studio in nz and they all get along well I guess that’s what makes it easier lol..

They have a guy that helps choreo called Kiel he does the music. Sometimes Parris will be part way through teaching / putting together a routine and she will ask him to put a few seconds of one song then mix it with another then come back to the original track. A lot of it is done on the fly, as that is how Parris seems to work best. If you watch their 2015 hip hop international finals routine(which is excellent) then watch JLo's opening to the AMA's that same year, Parris did a great job with that opener, they used Kiels mixes and the end bit was smack out of their finals routine. It looked awesome up there, though I don't envy the girls having to do it all in heels! Plus one of the girls costume split during anaconda, she spent 5 minutes dancing flashing her arse to millions of people. Bless her.

Been waiting for you guys to review the RF for the LONGEST. From experience and being lead by some of members of the OLD OLD OLD Royal Family/Request girls, back when these comps were all we had in terms of dance, all the mixes were self mixed, AFTER the song had be chosen and the choreography have been created. Not to say some of the tracks on their own weren't remixes, but they usually make the final mix themselves! You needa react to more dance teams! But pleeease check their previous comp sets from 2013-2015! And check out BROTHERHOOD | Showcase | Artists Emerge 2018 it's all FIRE!

Yall finally reacted to Royal Family. They are well known in the dancing industry, got the gold medal at the world of dance 3 years in a row. Kiel Tutin has been remixing their songs from the OG days but left to start off with his own company. Parris Goebel has worked with Rihanna, JLo, Justin Bieber multiple times(sorry video is all the girls), and many more but can't name them off the top off my head. Parris Goebel would change the whole choreography overnight if she wasn't satisfied with it and perform it at even the semifinals World of Dance and her concerts and still top it.
