Love the reaction! Royal Family is a megacrew from The Palace Dance Studio. Dancer and choreographer Parris Goebel started the dance group ReQuest in 2007, and they made their mark when they won the gold medal at HHI in 2009, and again in 2010. Then in 2011, ReQuest got a silver medal while three other crews (Sorority, Bubblegum and Royal Family) got gold. The Palace has gotten several medals across different crews since then and have really solidified their style. This dance studio is based in Auckland, New Zealand and is (obviously) majority-female, and many of the members are of Polynesian descent. Parris cites Polynesian culture as one of the major influences to her choreography. They're also the dancers in Justin Bieber's 'Sorry' music video and Psy's 'LOVE' music video, and there's a documentary about them called The Palace, filmed in 2015. Honestly? I'd suggest starting from 2009 and working your way up and seeing them change over time. Trust me, it's worth it. My favourite HHI performances would probably be: Bubblegum (junior division) 2011, 2014, 2015 Sorority 2013, 2015 Royal Family 2013, 2015 Royal Family Varsity 2016 I know that's heaps but there's so much more to watch on top of that. They went a bit downhill 2016 and 2017, but this year they're 🔥 so far!

There's also a series you can find on KZbin called "The Palace" that goes from the yearly selection of new members to the world championship of that year. It's really good.

Fun Fact: They are the dancers in the Justin Bieber music video "Sorry" and some of them danced in the music video by Jason Derulo "Swalla" also they danced in "Level Up" by Ciara. They choreograph in New Zealand in a city called Auckland, they also tour worldwide and have had massive opportunities. They have won many competitions, and have got a lot of gold medals, silver medals also gold trophies and more. Their choreographer Parris Goebel is a worldwide famous dancer, the crews named Bubblegum, Sorority and Royal Family with them all together they have made a massive impact through the years. The launched a series called " The Palace" in 2018. I am a massive fan and I love watching them and I talk a lot about them. #RoyalFamily
