Before the Spaniards came to the Philippines we used to have king(s) and queen(s) and they lived in Mindanao. Remember Lapu-Lapu? He was the leader of a tribe in cebu, the most powerful tribes are found in Mindanao(Islam tribes) were "they" or "We" used to call our "king" as "Sultan". History books in the Philippines should put emphasis on this part of our history it's sad that a lot of people don't know about this fact, it seems it's simply forgotten or unknown to the vast majority.

They are traders and not lumad or from the Philippines so they are not part of the ROYAL FAMILY in the PHILIPPINES the TRUE ROYAL FAMILY in the PHILIPPINES are the DATU, DATU are the head or the ROYAL BLOOD of THE PHILIPPINES.. Datu is a native word from the PHILIPPINES. Islam just came in 1500 before the SPANIARD we already have DATUS no MUSLIM or ISLAM in our country only after the colonial.

The way I look at that golden chair is made of a 24 carat gold leaf use to cover the surface of any wooden chair or anything they want to ornate it with gold. The Arabs are fond of using this gold leaf in most palaces not just in the furniture but also in the ceiling and other part of the house. The classic Italians furnitures are mostly using this and they're expert on this, that's why most of the palaces in the Middle East are decorated by the Italian designer and craftsmen.👌 👌

@@Kris2Chan that's because the Americans stripped off all their titles. Atleast during Spain since Spain is a monarchy, they have their status as nobility. Nung dumating ang mga Amerikano, they didn't like the idea of nobility kasi nga democracy daw so ayon, they stripped all their titles and ruling power. But I'm glad na they still exist in Mindanao.

But in our own tribe the Maguindanon meron kaming sariling tinatawag na Datu/ Sultanate at galing sa mga royal blood! Bakit royal blood? There is no such thing as Maharlika. There are sultanate of Sulu, Sultanate of Maguindanao, Kingdom of Ma-I, Kingdom of Tondo, Kingdom of Maynila, etc. pero never nagkaroon ng Maharlika. The Philippines before unification by the Spanish, was composed of several sovereign kingdoms and states. There's no way that a kingdom named maharlika exists. Syempre hindi yan ituturo sa school kasi it's not even a real thing. What documentaries pinapanood mo? Mga history vlog kuno na may maharlika daw? Kasinungalingan yon. You should learn Philippine history through legit sources hindi yung kung saan saan lang na facebook or youtube pages.

In most of the original Pilipino languages, the vowel e, pronounced as "eh" and the vowel I pronounced as "eeh" are interchangeable, and even in our ancient form of writing called "Baybayin" eh and eeh are one and the same symbol. That's why they call you Brit, Brett.
@elleverde53673 жыл бұрын
FUN FACT: Did you know that the filipino citizen was supposed to be called "Maharlikano and Maharlikana" it's so much better than "filipino" and our country is supposed to be "Maharlika" not "Philippines" but because our country was colonized by spanish, it was named Philippines, to honor King Philip (he's a spanish), sadly we didn't succeed on changing the country's name. No hate, spread love and stay safe!

Maharlika is a Tagalog term for WARRIOR CLASS, and it exists in all ethnic tribes in Philippines with different terminology, for example: "Mardíkâ" in Kapampangan which means the warriors of commoners/freemen, and the "Bayáni" which means the warriors of nobility. Merdeka in Bisaya which is almost the same as in Kapampangan. That's why it is important to highlight the multi-cultural roots of the Filipinos, not only one tribe (Ketagalugan) since it can only create a lot of misinformation and misleading the people.
@p-yoopyoo65952 жыл бұрын
No I don't wanna be called a Maharlikano💀 the -o and -a is Spain's way of differing men and women. Precolonial Philippine never stresses the differences of man and woman, which is why a female ruler back then was normal in southeast Asia. My point is: I preferred being known as Filipino(neutral for both men and women) because c'mon, our heroes died proclaiming our country as Filipinas, what's more to change?
