How great that you were there for the parade in front of the Palacio. And it looked like you got to see a bit of the changing of the guard. The first time I was in Madrid, I was lucky enough to stumble upon (then) King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia saying goodbye to the Queens brother, Prince Philip of Great Britain, in a ceremony outside one of the government buildings on Via Mayor. What an experience!

Those white horses are some of the most beautiful I've ever seen. That statue on the bench was surprising & kewl. WOW that stained glass, statues & altars in the church! I'd never be able to see such ahhhmazing sites like this. If it weren't for you. The Crypts sure have stellar architecture. Almost rendered me speechless. Statues, topiary, fountains & gardens oh my!

Absolutley gorgeous! From the parade (adore the horses! And pageantry of the army in its regalia!) Spectacular! I loved how you were respectful and said a prayer while services were going on in the church. The other church was in descripably beautiful. Thank you for taking us on a gorgeous tour. Really enjoyable. The parade was majestic. The horses were gorgeous. The uniforms very patriotic and filled with pride for their Country. Glad the day was so perfect weather too. No, you cannot but a day like this!

What a BEAUTIFUL city!! Visiting Madrid before the temps hit sweltering was a wise choice for sure. I bet that cup of morning expresso you had was like a rocket launch! Bet it helped u cover alot of territory too! Love the bronze sculpture of Icarus descending to earth from above and the sculpture of the figure on the park bench with stigmata marks on his/her feet. Really, loved everything about the vlog Jordan!

Another home run Jordan!! Some of my ancestry harkens back to the island of Sandoval in Spain my heritage is Spanish and Mexican. Our Sandoval line came to Mexico from Spain with Cortez way back a few hundred years, Our family migrated up to New Mexico which was New Spain back then, that is on my mothers side. It is an interesting history.

Those white horses were beautiful. I think Spain is famous for those horses. Not positive but man those horses were something else! And watching the soldiers on the horses with the armor and the swords and the uniforms kind of takes you back in time. Almost like it's a movie but not. The statue that looks like a homeless man laying on the bench, and then you see the feet. Says a lot doesn't it. Beautiful, all of it.

🇵🇹you need to go to Portugal. there’s so much history .. go to the oldest part of Lisbon there is a part called alfama and it is where they sing old folklore music called Fado and that is amazing to go and see cafés are all dark and candles women wear fantastic dresses with shawls and they sing about life so you must make it out there it is too beautiful not to🇵🇹

The change of guard is daily by the royal guard, bunkers of arftilleria and civil guard, only if there is an event, know the arrival of a foreign leader, since the visit to the palace is closed
