I run the XTR370s on my Maverick Trail 1000, and they are great tires. Work well on every terrain, and pull well in the mud. No complaints from me.

Agree. We just ordered another set of 4.

Did you do any clutch work or anything to the mav or all stock? Can you notice the extra weight? Also how is the ride? Sorry for all the questions.
@bigbluegpr3 жыл бұрын
@@thadschroederx No, it's all stock. My Man Trail is the 1000, and I don't really notice e the weight. The ride is good!

I got the same tires from Planet SxS, but went with the System3 wheels too. Love em so far, only have 100 miles on them. Hearing good things.

I think you made a good choice. I wanted bronze 5+2, and System 3 didn’t have a wheel like that. I’m about to order some SB-5s for my XP 1000.
@tcnpsu13 жыл бұрын
Seems that way so far. I got the 5/2 offset. 30” on an X3. Machine looks amazing and rides smooth. Just need to let some air out. Currently at 14lbs. Hatfield Trip in early November. I’ll know more about them after that.

How does Tire handle in slick mud going up a hill
@DirtyRoosterOffroad3 жыл бұрын
It’s been pretty dry, so not much tested in those conditions. I will say I was shocked at how well I climbed up a vertical creek bank that was probably 5 feet tall. Effortless. Based upon what I’ve seen and felt so far from the tires, I think they’ll do pretty well, but we’ll let everyone know once we get some more rain.

Just got back from Hatfield McCoy after Zeta dumped on the area. The trails were very wet/muddy and the tires didn't miss a beat. We were very impressed with their performance in mud, slick rocks, and wet clay. I think you'd be more than pleased with their performance on slick uphills. We were also shocked at how well they stayed up out of the ruts when we wanted to take those lines.

So why did you not go with 32 inch tires?
@DirtyRoosterOffroad3 жыл бұрын
Mainly to stay with stock clutching. We’ve found that 30” tires do pretty well for our needs, especially when coupled with Shock Therapy dual rate spring kit.
@lloydhovelmann47193 жыл бұрын
looking at these tires I think I am sold on them you are happy with 30".
@DirtyRoosterOffroad3 жыл бұрын
They’re awesome tires. We run them on 7 machines right now. Yes, happy with 30”, but depends what machine and what you’re doing with it. We have a Pro XP4 in the group that’s running 32” since that machine is longer and comes stock with 30”.

@@DirtyRoosterOffroad okay I have a xmr sport 1000. Love the tires now but need a all round tire. Thanks

@@DirtyRoosterOffroad did the pro xp fit the 32x10-15 without any mods on stock
@DirtyRoosterOffroad3 жыл бұрын
Yes. The Pro XP fit the 32X10-15s without mods and all stock shock settings/preload. The tires, alone, made a huge difference in ride comfort.

Are the XTR 370's true to height?
@DirtyRoosterOffroad3 жыл бұрын
There are many variables, but here are my measurements after about 450 miles on them and 10 psi of pressure. With no machine weight on the tire, they measure 29.5" from the floor. With the machine weight on them, they measure 29" from the floor. Hope this helps.

I took my RS1 to Shock Therapy yesterday to get the re-valving done. I talked to the technician when I picked it up, He explained to me what he did and told me the front left shock's reservoir O ring seal was bad, and the nitrogen had leaked into the oil and carbonized it and the shock was basically a Pogo stick. I told him the RS1 was practically new and he told me he sees a lot of Walker Evans shocks like that, probably pinched it during assembly at the factory. Anyway the RS1 ride should be a huge improvement now in the slow chop on these trails I ride on. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGPXYaJsidhoipI

You want be sorry with the Shock Therapy revalve, I’m sure. I just have the dual rate springs on my XP, and it made a huge difference. My DRS kit for the RS1 will be here tomorrow! Strange about the seals. Mine are working fine and not revalving, so I‘ll definitely keep an eye on it.
@patd4u23 жыл бұрын
DirtyRooster Offroad I can't wait to take it out and see the difference. There was no way I could have known that left front shock was bad. There was no Evidence of a leak or anything.
@DirtyRoosterOffroad3 жыл бұрын
I guess the old school rebound/bounce test could reveal it. I’ll figure out a way to isolate and test them.
