I have a manual 5 speed 2002 Exterra with a 3 inch lift, lockers, Micky t 33s . I rolled it a few years ago.. thinking about doing a Cummins swap with a Allison trainsmission. 2002 was the best year for the the Exterra.

Sorry to hear about the roll over but the new build sounds awesome!

You should look in to Toyota 1HD 3.0L diesel engine . You can get engine transmission and T-case for $4500

Great run. Is there a build thread on Chema & Jenn's Frontier? That machine is a beast.

Got my 1st gen because of the yellow 1st gen you guys have. I love it. It’s not sas’d yet but it is on 33s. Sas and dual cases eventually.

Great Journey through the Rubicon. Any tips on where to get a good map for the trails to Vegas along the 95?
@RogueOverland6 жыл бұрын
Howard Hawk Jr. thanks !! Honestly we map most of our trips out by doing research on the web and then manually building the map files in google earth. There is a ton of good areas to explore along that route
@howardhawkjr.59506 жыл бұрын
Thanks, and that is a bummer. If you ever build a map that can utilize google maps to do the rest, I would definitely buy it.

I’m driving a Toyota 4Runner 4th Gen on 33 s . It’s front and rear locked with RCV axles. Would this trail be a stretch?
@RogueOverland3 жыл бұрын
Check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXmzi4yorrB5rKc This 3rd gen did it on 33s. He was using his armor a lot but totally doable with good driving. Here is his build: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nX-WXn59pL6Fn9k

I've owned a 4runner but never an xterra.. It's a wash up on what I want for my next daily driver.. They're both beasts but 4runner kinda sells be on the back Window going down without lifting the tailgate!

Good luck with whichever you choose. Thanks for watching!

Is there a build thread over on TNX for the White 2nd Gen? I'm interested in seeing how those corners were made/fit.
@RogueOverland6 жыл бұрын
Ryan Bennett there is not, however I can tell we built the frame out of 1" .120 wall and then put an aluminum shell on them, they are tied into the heft y rear bumper and can support a hi lift on them
@RyanBennett_Gpd6056 жыл бұрын
Ah, I thought so. I hate these corners and was looking into doing something similar to this. Thanks!
@RogueOverland6 жыл бұрын
Exactly why I did it , added a ton of extra clearance for the 35's and can take a beating. There is a small build page on our website FYI

How can my Escape equal to Xterra?
@RogueOverland3 жыл бұрын
Your best bet is to find a Ford Escape forum or FB group and talk with people who have built them up before. We don’t have any experience with the Escape platform. Good luck!
