thanks for this!! I used to play basketball but quit because I had a bad muscle spasm the night before tryouts, I limped the whole time. I have been into music since (band, I play clarinet, ukulele, kalimba, guitar, piano)but was tired of not being active. I realized that I like tennis and I am good at games similar to tennis so maybe I could give it a try, I asked my mom and am going to talk about it with my dad!! This helped me get a good understanding of what it’s like, so thank you!!

I'm a Table Tennis player. I don't understand what Ad In & Ad Out are along with when to switch from Deuce to Advantage side.

It is like table tennis but they came up with bullshit like love-15-30-40-deuce-ad in-ad out or whatever. Play it like 0-1-2-3-4 and whoever becomes 4 wins the game. The 3-3 (deuce) is exactly same as 10-10 in table tennis. You can play the game without using any of that bullshit

I got a question When I'm serving on the AD side, standing close to the imaginary center line my foot not crossing it though 1. Can the racket cross the imaginary center line when I swing? 2. Can the contact point with the ball cross the imaginary center line?

Yes, when you are serving on the AD side, your momentum will carry you forward across the "imaginary center line," so it's perfectly legal. The rules are only for where your feet are planted before you attempt the serve.

When you serve, it has to hit inside the service box of the opposite side, but what happens if it doesn’t hit that service box? Is it automatically that the point is lost? How many serves does one side get until the other side starts serving?

If the ball doesn't land into the service box, that's called a "fault". You then have a second attempt to serve the ball. If you "fault" the second time, then the point is automatically lost. One sides serves until a game is won, then service switches to the other player for the new game.

For tie breakers, the person that was supposed to serve next starts (so if you served the last game, your opponent will start the tie break). After the first point, serves alternate every two serves (so on after points 1,3,5, etc.).
