Realize once you hit the yard, you have nothing prove or nothing to loose. Mind your business and don't take nothing from nobody. Everything and everyone has a price. Plus you got to remember there isn't a level of loyalty or even honor among theives. Once you get to prison you become a number, property/custody of state penal system, and become quickly disposable as deemed necessary whether it be by enemies, so called crew, or even staff/ correctional officer's. Why some people go back time after time. I will never understand but, one thing about prison it is a structured environment. So maybe depending on how long you been in, your environment has become the norm.

That's real talk in LA prisons. As soon as you walk in there, find your "car" and move accordingly. Don't mix convo's, sinks/toilets, phones, shower times, tables, etc...Or you will be disciplined! You better be ready to program or yo will catch it. It's a VERY dangerous environment but you have to handle your candle. Ain't no time for crying in there. You're in there with the worst kind. Debts and/or addictions in jail are a death sentence. You will definitely get carved like a Thanksgiving turkey for that. It only took me one time behind those walls to never want to go back. My younger brother did 23yrs. The cycle broke with us. Our kids will NEVER know that life!

I been in the medical center hospital about 45times since I been in this jail, they can’t stand me in here. 75% of the mfkrz in prison cannot fight it's mostly intimidation.When you fight concentrate on their body the liver and kidneys.99% gonna aim for your face.I had 2 fights in the county first dude my size second was 6ft6 maybe 320 big mfkr.both fights won with kidney and liver shots hit them there first then face but let them swing first slip off the punches to the side then counter.Fights didn't last 2 minutes before they knew what happened.No man breathing can stand after he gets punched in his liver

I've had my license revoked 2 times and never spent a day in jail only time I can see jail being the punishment is riding around with no insurance which is what my license got revoked for. maybe wreckless endangerment doing like 110 or above on the E-way which is criminal, I can see jail time being handed out for that, but ok might be time to move, can you prove to the judge you are a productive member of society do you have a job, are you in school for a trade or a degree?? somethings not adding up?

I'm from Ohio and Lucasville Prison ( Southern Ohio Correctional Facility) is a serious place. I used to be a corrections officer for ODRC, I was in a level 3 institution and being SRT, I've been to SOCF a couple times. It's a different world in there. SOCF and TOCI (Toledo) are level 4s. The level 5 is OSP.

I left Oakland Ca and grew up next to San Quentin (my mom was a Sargent) .I started getting my hair cut by an inmate and when he got paroled he ended up being my barber for 13 years. He didnt become a statistic of recidivism, he didnt go back. My grandmother's brother had the biggest prostitution ring ever broken up in Northern California, which not only survived but prospered while being run by a federal prison inmate, the Justice Department announced. The $3.5-million-a-year prostitution ring apparently was run for the first four months this year by inmate Thomas Nathaniel Lusk from his jail cell in the Lompoc Federal Detention Center. My mother's brother is still locked up. I heard too many horror stories from inmates and employees. Im so grateful I didn't end up an inmate or a guard.
