The 8-Bit Drummer proves his fingers to be the fastest in the west! Some sections had to be cut from this one to avoid making the music industry think we weren't nice.

Jerod on the first song: "This one's actually pretty hard, i'm surprised i'm doing so well." Me: "Yeah that looks hard, I don't think I could keep up with that to well." Jerod switching songs: "I'm kidding I wouldn't start with something so easy." Me: "OH"

Jerod's ability to instantly fall and stay in rhythm no matter what circumstance is incredible, and this only reinforces my awe. The blind drum alongs are amazing, of course, but I've been thinking about this since I watched him drum a functional beat in Duck Game, of all things, last Colosseum
@Cmmf_
@Cmmf_ 4 жыл бұрын
The fun thing about this is that it's almost completely muscle memory! As soon as you hear the bpm your brain just automatically adjusts and you just get locked in the groove. There is a point where your brain doesn't know where and how to come back in, but that point is right near your speed-cap. The blind drumming is one of the most impressive skills i have ever seen though, no doubt that he's an anomaly in that department.

Not that it's a competition, but I think Jerod was by far the most talented person at TRG Colosseum. This, his Enter the Gungeon run, and the blind Through the Fire and the Flames drum run were some of the hypest parts of the entire event.

I feel it's pretty impressive that Jerod can basically sight read many of these songs, given that he installed the game the very same day of Colosseum and hasn't touched it in a long time.

Booyah for the drummer of 8-bit, and his lovely wife, doing a rhythm game segment. Rhythm games are one of my favorite genres to play, being a musician (singer, flute, and some experience with harp and piano) but not completely indoctrinated into 21st century popular music.

I would assume for the fear of getting a strike on the channel. The same thing happened last year too. It sucks but maybe the VOD is still on twitch with the song (the disappear after a month and they may get muted because of the song, but that's the best bet). If it's any consolation Jerod has a video of him drumming to the song on his youtube channel.
@sorensharp4377
@sorensharp4377 4 жыл бұрын
@@Konradix05 Yeah, I understand that. It doesn't make sense though. If he can get a copyright strike here, why can't he on his own channel? And why aren't all the other songs in this game copyrighted? Also, what about all the youtubers who just upload songs. There are like 10 different uploads of just the song and they are striked. KZbin's copyright system is absolutely jacked and completely unfair.
