This resonated with me as well. And what I have learned is that I "Phoebe" need to love myself and even if my apolo did come to the realization of my worth and how he fumbled the ball, I now know that there is a man who will see my worth (the way I saw Apollo) from day one and that is what I deserve. The reason to this relationship was to teach me how to love myself and to teach apolo how to love others by being unconditionally loved by another and loosing them. The reason is to cause a spiritual awakening within them both. They were never meant to be together.

Just because apolo wakes up doesn't mean we should love him more than we love ourselves. That is always what woman have done. Because we understand, we put men above our own self love when they do not do that for us. It isn't until we stand up for our worth and choose self love do they get taught to value our worth and the only way that happens is to move on and not accept them because they already abused the love we had for them. If we let them back in, that is us saying to the universe that we don't believe there is another man who will love us and see us for who we are. And so we end up settling for them. That's not the truth and their regret is not love. If they really loved you, they would be happy for you and not even attempt to come back at all.

I felt an instant connection to my apolo and for a while that had convinced me that we were meant to be but after our separation led me to my healing journey, and now that I am in a better place of knowing myself and understanding self love, I've realized that we were always meant to experience love with each other, but that ultimately, we were meant to choose loving ourselves first and any love that is true, I would be able to love myself unconditionally without any sacrifices or hurt to myself in order to love them and vice versa. If u can't do that then it's not for you. Don't be afraid to leave for the unknown. If u believe there is someone that will love you unconditionally that you don't have to convince or be better for, than you will find it. You just have to be brave enough to walk away from the ones who haven't given you the love you deserve first. I know it's scary but many people I know who were strong enough to leave their Apollo, found their prince. Stay strong ladies, love you all 💜🙏🏻
