The man from Switzerland sure has picked up a thick Clare accent! I first visited Doolin in 1999 and people were still talking about Micho Russell so much that I thought he had just died the year before, but it was in 1994. Doolin was still a great place in 1999 for traditional music but changing fast.

To call that fine man's accent a, thick Clare accent sounds deeply insulting, you probably did not mean that the way it reads

Thank you Janet! Doolin is still a great place, but fast changing for sure, just like everywhere else!

I don't find it insulting, and I believe we all know she meant well 😊 No need to get offended here, we are all on the same side 💚

@@jamesbradshaw3389 you must think there is something wrong with the Clare accent. The man has a thick Clare accent, it's just an observation and I say this as a person who lives in Clare. And by "thick" I mean it is recognizable as a Clare accent. BTW - there is nothing wrong with the Clare accent!
