5:40 - For what the taxonomic value of ichthyosaur teeth is worth, from the teeth I've seen from both the Posidonia Shale in Germany and from northern France, T. trigonodon occurs in both regions...

It does pose the question, But with being a fairly static environment what ever is hidden beneath may never be found. We are similar in that the erosion around East Dorset is very slow so we may never really know what magnificent creatures are hidden in our cliffs.
