There's even more for fangames. Slum's call from pointless is undoubtedly my favorite.

i kind of feel like this is the painful's version of marty's face being everywhere, kind of representing the grip Lisa and Marty still have on Brad by using the leitmotif from The Sireen's Call. I also think this because sirens (assuming this is what the name "Sireen's Call" alludes to) are known for enchanting people with their call.

I just realized that when “God’s Call” can be heard it might imply that Yado is watching you or is at least somewhere nearby.

Yeah you can find him in area 1, 2 (and maybe three) one area before the hub

@@leanslayer1589he definitely is in area 3, he’s on a lower cliff where you have to blindly jump off and risk dying

I always found Child’s call to be beautifully haunting.

I got chills the moment i heard gods call at the end of soft skin. It sounds like a demon humming in a church. And the version when brad is fighting rando army, the leitmotif at the end really gives off the vibe of dread hopelessness

There's also the call motif in The Big Girl has Cometh, and LOVE

The Sireen's Call is probably my favorite iteration of the Calls I feel like it plays somewhere else in Painful, faintly, but I can't remember where

It plays in the final area, when Brad confronts Rando's army, but just before his party shows up

Just listened to it in full, and I feel compelled to point out how miserable that rendition of the leitmotif sounds. (Ramble incoming, TL;DR - this game is depressing.) God's Call is Yado's lonely proclamation of his superiority and Godhood. Big Boy's Call is resignation with growing up to being a terrible person. The Highway King's version of the leitmorif is almost wonder and excitement at the strange, strange world Olathe has become. The Royal's Call is a distortion of the leitmotif, showing that no matter how fancy the instrumentals of the mansion get, within it lives the same monster. The Band's Call is the lingering echoes in a desolate wasteland, people making music however they can, after one bad family's bullshit ruined the world for miles without end. Father's Call is the heavy reminder and distantly muted, yet intense inner panic of a Father who just realised his baby daughter is left all alone in a world that will tear her apart. Child's Call is the lingering memories of what could have, _should have_ been a more peaceful adolescence. Nobody's Call is just kinda confusion at how wack the world has gotten, like it's laughing in the face of everyone's misfortune and cruelty. Soft Skin's use of leitmotif represents how all these monstrosities, cruel people, they all ultimately blend together into the same monster, who may have had the audacity to call your baby sister's skin "soft", as he tormented her. Death's Call is yet another reminder of the loss itself, of what Marty's abuse and your inaction ultimately led to. Satan's Call is all that grief, regret, and guilt channelled into rage at all that stand in your way. It all stems from Sireen's Call - Lisa's theme. Not just the game, the character. It's the theme of her loneliness, the same melody played so many times it's corroded, gone scratchy. It's the theme of the reason Lisa's gone, and Brad's overwhelming guilt. Worst Call Yet is the theme of a horrified, hurt, and raging child trying to stand up to his monster of a """Father""". It drags out painfully, the initial shock, horror, struggle, all eventually melting into the desperation and sorrow. I didn't have it in me to go through a two-hour battle, or whatever, but it goes to show what it was like. Marty was, and still is an overwhelming force, that cannot truly be beaten. Even if Brad killed his body, the effects of his abuse never went away. That pain lingers, that loneliness, that isolation, that hopelessness. And you will never know peace from it. Man. :-(
