i really did him dirty in the thumbnail huh
anygays, 5 months since the last vid! just a lil story time, the reason why i wasn't able to make anything is because i fell in love with some thai boys (offgun) and a certain kdrama male lead (jang kiyong) and thus the whole quarantine, my attention was completely away from nct :(((
however, the whole nct 2020 shenanigans excite me so much that i'm back to paying attention now. also i had a rough draft of a johnyong vid even before my last johnmark video but unfortunately, my laptop memory was erased completely when we tried to upgrade the system. no worries, that johnyong vid will happen, i just don't know how soon.
also. shoutout to @yoonohmii for mentioning me in one of their community posts! feels kinda nice to know that actual people actually watch my videos haha ♡

On a serious note: I really do admire Johnny's confidence; he actually helps me with my self-esteem issues Like, imagine: he was a trainee for a pretty long time (I know, that he was a trainee during summer break, but still) - 8 years is a long time; he saw all of his fellow trainees, even those who had a smaller trainee time period, debut (not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just for comparison); on top of that he's an only child, a son, his parents had him late, and they stayed in a different country - a lot of those factors could've easily shaken one's confidence and I have a hunch that Johnny did experience that (I can't say for sure) But for Johnny - to go through all that and brand himself as the confidence of the group - he's the prime example of how healthy self confidence looks like, honestly. It doesn't only reflects on how he views himself, it's how he views his members and hype them up, how he doesn't dwell on his mistakes and learns from them, or how he gives everyone compliments just because he wants to. I don't know why but Johnny's confidence encourages me and many other nctzens to feel better about ourselves; I don't know what kind of magic this man possesses but it's working I just wrote a whole mini essay on why I love Johnny basically

Johnny has such a big impact on my life because he helped me feel more confident 😌 in what I was doing and about myself. He made me feel like I was special and unique. When I was getting ready for Middle School I had so many plans for what I wanted to do yet when things went wrong I felt like so hopeless and not confident in myself anymore then when I saw Johnny he made me realize that I should never give me on my dreams and I should never doubt myself. Johnny made me the person I am today. Thank you so much for making this! it's enjoyable to watch and makes me smiling throughout the video :) Also, I think this video has the best comment section I've ever read, like, everyone can learn from Johnny and it's really heartwarming seeing how Johnny has some kind of impact in our lives :) Johnny is really one of a kind, there's something about him that brings me comfort :) As an only child myself, I reflect a lot on his attitude towards life and and I like how he makes me wants to try harder; to be better, but still within my own limit. His confidence really inspires me, especially when seeing him doing many different things (DJing, vlogging, singing, dancing, MCing, etc.), being confident in doing those thing but not too confident that hinders him from improving himself. And his "better do then regret than never do and regret" is one from many inspiring quotes from him that I really like, especially because I do have many hobbies & activities that I'd like to do but because of my overthinking habit, i keep delaying doing that until the point of regret. But he also said before that his confidence wasn't something that he was born with. He wasn't originally this friendly and outgoing too, but he worked hard for it.
