You can look at any unsuccessful NFL team and it traces a straight line back to the owners. The NFL and its structure gives any organization the chance to field a competitive team its up to the organization to find a way to capitalize.
@christianmarroquin83703 жыл бұрын
@Harry Engel they don't really have a job. They make money by owning a thing, that's not a job. What work are they doing? Maybe they spend an hour signing the checks if they own a football team. But they aren't doing any actual work.
@drygnfyre2 күн бұрын
You're noticing a trend because it's the answer. When a franchise is consistently bad, you have to look at the ownership. It's clear there are ownership problems with teams like the Jags, Giants, Jets. And it's not limited to the NFL. Every sports league is like this. People might hate teams like the Yankees, Dodgers, Patriots, Chiefs, but it was clear they had good ownership that knew the right people to hire and let them do their jobs, not interfering unless necessary. (And of course, the people they hired were able to find the right players). What happens is owning a sports team is basically like printing your own money. You really can't lose. So a lot of owners just care about owning the team and profiting, and never actually trying to make a good, consistently competitive team. Especially when the fans keep showing up and buying merchandise.

I wanted the Titans to play at home at least once during the playoffs... This comment has nothing to do with the video or the Jags, I just wanted to voice my opinion

That’s if they can win the division, which they can do and can end up with a home playoff game.

They just started a huge 8 year project around the stadium worth millions of dollars and shad khan said himself he isn’t moveing the team to London because the long distant traveling would be to hard for the players and will be in a whole new country so the jags will be in Jacksonville for at least 10 more years and if they were to move it would be somewhere in the United States

Or, alternately, Toronto or Mexico City are both potential candidates. The NFL has been eyeing them as potential new markets.

As a Ravens fan, the Coughlin situation is a pretty accurate example of what has been going on in Baltimore the last few years with their conditioning staff.

Nah, unless Minshew goes off a cliff in performance they're going to rebuild on most positions other than QB, CB and Edge Rusher where the picks of these past 2 drafts came from.

Minshew has the possibility to be a franchise QB. I believe he had 4-1 TD-int ratio,which I really good for a rookie whose not getting payed that much.

If they're smart, they realize how vital this year is, and draft him so New England doesn't take him and he doesn't kick their asses for another 2 decades.

I never condoned the nickname, but I’ll admit I was wrong about coughlin. He was the coach of the 90’s and I’d hoped he knew what the jaguars as a success should be like. Like it or not, that defense was Gus Bradley’s doing. He built it. Ever since we canned him, we’ve done everything within our power to move away from him. It’s a pain to watch, but no matter what happens, I’ll be a fan for life

Felt good when Josh shut Ramsey up in what was a lost 2018 season for my Bills, and felt just as good when Josh did it again last Sunday against the Rams, this time with the help of Diggs catching a TD right over Ramsey.
