If I wasn't Scottish, I would be Russian, such proud people, they have passion and commitment to their national history that no other country on earth could ever dream of. Sad and tragic that 64 of these wonderful and talented performers died in a plane crash of Sochi only a few months after this performance. May they rest in peace. любовь к россии и ее людям

in Greece 1200 villages were burned and martyred ... in 1943 our village was once burned by the Germans (and Greek collaborators - fascists) killing 60 people ... 1949 then the British burned it in the Greek civil war (again with Greek collaborators fascists who after the Germans served the Anglo-Americans) .... those of us who suffered in the war understand this song ... it comes out of our souls ..... long live the red army ....in the West ... all over the world the enemies of socialism are trying to hide, to tarnish, to dogmatize, with lies, half-truths, with falsifications ... the reality: the USSR defeated fascism, fought against the whole of Europe economically -political -military ... and he won !!! ... long live the heroic peoples of the USSR ... we will never forget the 28,000,000 men ,women ,children ... deads who were sacrificed for the freedom of the working people ... we continue the struggle against fascism, totalitarianism, imperialism, social oppression and the liberation of the working people !!

What I find admirable is the fact that even if it's a song played within a theatre play, everybody in the audience got up and stood to attention. I don't think there are many other nations that would respect a song, other than their anthem, that much. And it is a song that deserves respect. Not a great fan of Russia, but hats off, for their patriotism.

People did that when I was a kid when we went to the cinema and they used to play the National Anthem. That got expunged by PC, like so many other nationalistic customs and practices. Respect Russia from Greece (Hellas) !!! Please do not forget...... If the Russians managed to put up resistance at the entrance to Moscow to stop and prevent the German torrent, they owe it to the Greeks, who delayed the German divisions, at a time when they could make us kneel. General Zhukov (Soviet Union) You fought unarmed against armor and you won. Small versus big and you prevailed. It could not have been done otherwise because you are Greeks. We saved time to defend ourselves. As Russians and as people we will be grateful to you Moscow Radio Station

Numbers are truly horrific but it’s not 80% of male population. Every family in USSR did lose someone including mine. Out of 100 males born between 1921-24 only three or four were alive by the end of the war. Perhaps that’s what he was thinking of. Like I said, horrific. 2.33- 2.39 min. - this is how this wonderful winning war song of the proud Russian army is lived in the heart. Even normal Slovaks. Big thanks to the Russian brothers. Beautiful song. Tears in eyes. 2.33- 2.39 мин. - так живет в сердце эта красивая победная песня о войне гордой русской армии. Даже нормальные словаки. Большое спасибо русским братьям. Красивая песня. @@marekptasznik1402 I agree. Russians are wonderful. However everytime, when I remember how men, women and children sacrificed their live in hopeless situation during the Warsaw uprising, the initial sadness over "senseless" loss is overrun by the idea, that thanks to their sacrifice, your nation has an obligation to live in freedom and in the way you people would honour their lives. It is a little hard to explain, but I think, that their bravery wasn't in vain, as the message of their deeds gives strength to other generations of Poles

The sacrifice of Russians\Slavs to the World is true and undeniable. They died massively 27 mil. of them but look they do not talk about this as Jews. Jews did business out of their war victims and they do this to this moment.
