Hi 👋🏼, I’m from USA 🇺🇸. My first time watching this channel. The point of theses traditions was just an ancient ritual. But in today’s society we have involved the breaking chain ⛓️‍💥 of theses traditions. Because I too am very proud of my culture and traditions. But in marrying your own relatives was not allowed in our traditions. It was said that if fire and are put together it causes chaos that leave trails of blood 🩸 and if blood are fused together it causes slow death to your children’s, deformity in the long run. It also causes conflicts which goes back to marrying your own relatives. Yes. Always respect your tradition in a manner. I am so pleased that Jamila finally made a leap of faith & told her father what was going on. Now, I feel like they can move forward with their futures.
