it is really sad truth, dev didnt bother to buff or make adjustment to this class, combo dragon fist also cant connect properly since the raise of hero class early days of romel i played combo shura on my alt but instanly regret it since to many bug didnt have good synt equipment that support this class. hell gate, ashura strike need to much prep and its entirely different from RO PC.

This is the only class I hardly use for PVE instances, sadly.. 1.) FO build could be nice if it didn’t have CD and didn’t use any orbs (basically make FO current trigger rate to 100% instead of 80%) 2.) combo build could be useful if devs would make it similar to TaeKwon combo. Hopefully devs would consider this in the future 3.) maybe monk will get buff if the hero class of monk is arrived (the real hero, not collab hero Saitama). Also I hope this will come this year as I think and hope that Oscar could be Monk‘s Hero

hurts to see this class be this bad in ROM, but in iRO, Suras are still one of the best classes due to the revamped tiger cannon combo, wish they'd do the same in ROM

In my opinion, the Monk class is intended to be a PvP centric job. What could've saved the job in PvE is to make combo builds, viable.

i make many tickets to them fix the combo bug. sometimes the char did one chain combo and auto atack, chain, auto, wasting a lot of times with animation. And they put Fist bonus as the tier V of Tacaro. AAAAAAAAAAAA it should be passive bonus since synth weapon were created in 2020...

Because romel make classic job dying, All classic job has unique ability each class I miss moment where all job do they role such as support, tank, dps, and burst mvp Now a days romel all job is dps wise Thats why i move to romc, Theres shura is still best mvp hunting

How about in ROM C? I'm torn between Shura and Mechanic. With max investment, which one is better in PvE?

@@johndustin80 In ROM C I've seen both be MONSTERS in PVE. However, Wobbly suggested Mechanic class. But since Saitama collab is coming for RomC, why not try Shura? It's all in your preferences really. Both deal lotta damage, shurs with only spammable finger offensive and Mechanic with arm cannon.

I would recommend you to get mechanic 1st, because zenny rules. EXCEPT if you plan to buy zennies using real money

Giant gloves already gives a huge dmg to large monsters and you are using full large monster equip. If you put one abyssal instead of minorous card you probably would get a better dmg as you are using dmg to large monster in armor instead of pen%

Man, don't go straight water asura only if you want to use asura in pve. You should go for asura + sky shattering + dragon wave. And you can maximize the combo monk if you do triple, chain, combo finish, asura, sky pierce, dragon wave (all the combo fits within the CD for prepare to elite of asura cd.There is another combo variant that i tested that you need a saint fp, deny healing card an put 0 auto heal from dragon balls passive skill point, then you can Fallen empire, hell gate, asura, sky shattering and dragon wave. The If you get a -5s rune you can do a better burst dmg but dragon wave will be usable every two asura combos tough. You won't kill the bosses fast, but your style will be unsurpassable hahaha

Against the dragon I used fire accessories, 2x scarecrow cards, and fire converter. I just didn't show that part since I didn't clear it anyway.

@WobblyWallaby I'm a returnee player. I didn't know where it went wrong when I came back even the disc serv was dead. Man I wish they buff DF and other classes like PD so hard. It's so sad to play a class you don't even want just because it's the stronger one :/
