The ceramic detend ball over steel used by strider in house production is definitely an step up. I have an s35vn first run and it is ridiculous smooth.

I find it sad and funny that there are people who take to the internet to hate on a knife or someone who purchased said knife

That is exactly correct that the misleading at the beginning of this knives life soured the taste in our mouth about this model. I’m in the strider community for years now. It’s a shame.

It’s my favorite knife (or two knives) in my collection. On top of the knife itself, I love that it ticks people off across the board. Just need a tanto from the S90 run

More expensive than a SnG or SMF though so you’re not right. Striders full titanium ones are about the same price as the .75

I know im late to speak on this topic but this is such a great knife. Im an old school strider fan but ive always loved Medfords as well, so i know im in the minority when i say this knife is a classic to me. Its made in usa from a great design, so to me its good to go.

For a hard use knife, and for the price, it bothers me that theres slip. I shouldnt have to fix or tinker with it to get it working properly. And i get its not worst slip, but any slippage bothers me. I just cant think, that it'll get worse over time

For what it is I'd pay that all day! How are you going to hate on a Strider designed knife made by Medford as if he were any less skilled or on point is laughable! It's not like finding out that what you just paid over $400 for and believed like the rest of the world it was made in the USA was really made in China and completely hid by the maker and of course I'm talking about the DISSAPOINTING HOBACK SUMO! Which I pretty much only bought because the first street I ever lived on in life was Hoback Glen! So I don't get the hate?!?
@markm1482 жыл бұрын
This style pivot sucks. All of my production Striders have this pivot and the tolerances are just not there on most of them. Medford should have insisted his pivot went in these. The best made Strider’s I’ve had were made by Protech and Medford. Every one of my Strider production knives have had shameful issues for the price. In a perfect world I’d have a SNG made by CRK.

"great deal" and $600 knife don't really belong in the same sentence. It is interesting to compare the .75AR and SMF side by side tho because they have the same amount of cutting edge despite the SMF being a much longer knife overall. Imo most people should buy a 187DP instead of an SMF or .75AR, even though the fit/finish will be better on the Striders.
