When you show up with a clean normal car with a few mods and the car has legendary history, YOU ARE NOT GOING TO WIN any car show. You need to show up with something OVER THE TOP!! Completely custom, one of a kind to even get a second look. This is what the organizers are looking for and the paying public is looking for. Would I pay to see a modified Porshe? Never! They are a dime a dozen! So, stop whinnying and get to work!

He brought up a good point that something unique an over the top doesn't mean is good, there are some cars way too "over the top" looking like a damn transformers and win. When you have something unique and actually well done an actual "complete build"
