The lore in this game may be massive and somewhat confusing at times, but it the kind of epic fantasy narrative that I love indulging into. The world building and characterization have been extremely satisfying, especially when the narrative doesn’t hold back and actually gets into mature subject matters such as insanity or death. This is exactly why even as an adult I see it as more than a simple gacha game with cute cookies.

I don’t think Pure Vanilla Cookie is going to die, but rather become corrupted, at least for a little while. There are a lot of parallels to both White Lily Cookie and Pure Vanilla Cookie as characters. Both are self sacrificial, and are willing to do anything to bring harmony to others, even at the cost of their own sanity or morality. For White Lily Cookie, this was having part of her soul transformed into Dark Enchantress Cookie after finding out the forbidden knowledge that cookies were created by witches to be eaten. Maybe for Pure Vanilla Cookie, he potentially gives up his sanity in order to contain/ redeem Shadow Milk Cookie. The best reason I could see him doing this would be to save Gingerbrave, Strawberry Cookie, and Wizard Cookie from death, as they are going to be featured in the new update for sure. Pure Vanilla Cookie has shown in the past to put himself in the line of danger for those he loves, and if Shadow Milk Cookie tried anything to hurt a loved one, Pure Vanilla Cookie would go to extreme measures to save them. Plus, it would fit the comment Devsisters said about this update not being structured like the previous two Beast-Yeast stories, and still lead to an Awakened form being given to Pure Vanilla Cookie, only the form will be corrupted unlike the previous two.

Tbh as much as I love PV I think it would make the story interesting if he did die and awaken as a corrupted version of himself and when the other ancients get their awakened form they can save him later in beast yeast which would be cool

Y'all are overthinking this again, The Pure vanilla sprite where he looks like he is falling is not about him dying, it's for the gacha animation where it shows the Ying and yang or for simple shadow milk and Pure vanilla like how they've done for Dark cacao and Golden cheese before and the sprite where it shows Awakened Pure Vanilla, the sprite next to Pure Vanilla is likely uncorrupted Shadow Milk cookie so my thoughts is that the plot twist for this beast yeast episode will be that Shadow Milk cookie will become uncorrupted.

BTW, What i meant by the loading screens is if you look at the live stream they did, they show you the two loading screens,one of shadow milk using pure vanilla as his puppet, and the other of Pure vanilla using Shadow milk as is puppet :p

I have a theory. Shadow Milk cookie and Pure Vanilla Cookie are the same cookie. Because if Pure Vanilla cookie were to get corrupted, he would become Shadow Milk Cookie. But since there can't be two of the same people, or cookies, in the same universe, Pure Vanilla Cookie (who is now shadow milk cookie) Gets teleported backwards in time and forgets what happened. Then when he obtains the old Light of Truth, he realizes everything of what happens and tells the other beast cookies, turning them corrupt. The soul jams get taken, given to a different Pure Vanilla Cookie and other ancients, and the cycle continues over, and over, and over.

Dark caco partly desolved, golden cheese cookie lost her wings, assuming something like this will happen to pure vanilla cookie. Also for white lily cookie she used an artifact to see the war of the flour to see the truth. Her copy turned into the dark enchantress cookie not her.
