I try hard not to judge people. I knew Kid Rock was a father and a grandfather. And I have no doubt his kid saw some things that were unhealthy. In the celebrity lifestyle I honestly don't know of any celebrity off spring that hasn't seen unhealthy things. But...having said that celebrity or not, if you love your kid (and I have no doubt Kid Rock loves his son) you just want them to be better than you. You don't want them to fall into the mistakes we made. And if, as parents, we do that right thing, don't shelter them from this cruel world where they can't function, hopefully they will be better leaders and succeed at life.
