Whether Atlantis existed or not, and regardless of whether it was at the Richat, the OVERWHELMING evidence is that the Sahara Desert was blasted by the ocean TENS OF MILLIONS OF YEARS MORE RECENTLY THAN PREVIOUSLY CLAIMED - This is something that should be FRONT-AND-CENTER to ALL scientists and researchers.
Is the lost city of Atlantis located at the Richat Structure? (Eye of Sahara Africa)

@@drummerdad80 , what you don't seem to understand is that it's not that there isn't any so-called hard evidence, it's that people who refer to themselves as experts immediately dismiss his hypothesis. The satellite footage of the surrounding area and the structure itself Falls in line with Plato's description. Especially in the northern mountain range which clearly shows the ancient Rivers flowing out of the mountain into the valley. Not to mention of what definitely looks like the aftermath of a land upheaval and wash out of the ocean on the western region. What I'm saying is there's enough evidence there to look into his theory and not just immediately dismiss it. There's definitely more evidence there than there is with the island of Crete, the Azores, the Bahamas, Cuba and Puerto Rico, etc.

@Lusa_Iceheart
@Lusa_Iceheart Жыл бұрын
@@kurzackd I'm not sure we'll ever get conclusive proof for all ten of them, but find some of them yes probably. Good candidate sites are like the one on the southern coast of Spain in the marsh, then the Azores too. The proximity to a nation with it's capital in the Western Sahara would all just sorta make sense. Also there's the likelihood that there's MORE than ten cities, just ten ruling cities. A limited number of seats of power but not the only cities. You'd think that a sprawling empire that had a capital with a population of at least a million would have many cities with populations in the tens of thousands. So even if we find more sites/cities that we can conclusively say belonged to Atlantis we can't be sure it's one the THE Ten cities. The Richat is just so dang unique of a location that it's pretty hard to call it anything other than the capital, it's size also suggests capital city. Also we probably will need to rethink human population models for the time period as well, b/c the current numbers are based on the whole hunter/gather primitive model and a hellscape desert Sahara. Probably a LOT more humans at the time, possibly close to industrial age levels if you gauge by the stone cutting technology and the fact that whole region would have been super habitable. So lot's more cities and likely whole other civilizations bordering Atlantis.

AND YET, when it comes to explaining how technological artifacts that don't fit their era were supposedly created in that era, by people who should've had no technology nor knowledge to achieve it, people in general do not reach out to specialists in their respective technological fields to speak for or against presented theory, and instead trust "archeologists" that have no god damn scientific background to be in any position to explain how such engineering feats were achieved. Our C-5 Galaxy had an in-flight emergency, and we had to land in the Azores. I never gave Atlantis any thoughts other than watching a show on it (In Search Of) back in the 1970's. .... however as we waited for a critical part, I had time to climb up some hills there, and overlook the Ocean below. Out of nowhere, I immediately started thinking about Atlantis, and I had a Vision that that the Azores were part of Atlantis. It was like deep feeling that lasted maybe 10 seconds, of Deja Vu. I felt like I had been here before. Wait until we are finally told what is buried, and "Flash Frozen" under the ice in Antarctica. .....our World, and our concepts of our origins will NEVER be the same. I found it ironic in the Nikkiana Jones video you referenced, they spent most of the episode talking about how Atlantis was under the ice sheet in Antarctica, and how Nikkiana’s idea was that the Richat used to be the South Pole. You were on to something when you spoke about Mansa Musa. That’s important to building your idea. I’d love to see a video where you reference the ghost villages along Mauritania’s spine, including some very odd looking ghost cities in the middle of the desert. In school, I remember learning all about the whole world - except northern Africa. Everyone is made to believe that it's just a giant wasteland that never had any life. It surprises me that you can watch a tv show about real-life treasure-hunters. They're always in remote parts of the ocean or off the coast of the Caribbean. The Sahara would be at the top of my list. There's no way half of that giant continent has never been settled by civilization.

@@youareliedtobythemedia Our own Federal Government has classified documents about the Richat Structure going back decades. Whatever one wants to call it, they are essentially doing the exact opposite of ‘up playing’ it. It definitely needs a proper investigation, preferably by a non-biased third party but I suspect that will never happen. The ‘controllers’ or whatever they are clearly have a huge incentive to keep the masses in the dark, as if it grants them power over us (which may be true for all I know).

I tend to lean towards the magnetic polar excursion that Ben Davidson refers to. When you add it all together it just makes sense. I'm no scientist but I do pay attention to what the scientists say and Ben quotes all the scientific papers that support his theories and adds links to them so you can see for yourself. One thing for sure, something happened twelve thousand years ago and apparently it happens every twelve thousand years.

@Jimmy, I am currently in Athens at the moment. Not to bring what they call folklore into it. Though an interesting thought occured to me, as Socrates, Plato, etc were all in and around Athens. One of the legends has it that Poseidon and Athena had an argument over who ruled the city of Athens. Athena won that contest by planting an olive tree, thus the olive trees in mass all around here. Posiedon was said to have given the people a river, which was salt water, thus he lost. If you look at the map of Athens, you see no rivers, though if you do further research, Athens has three major underground rivers that are covered up. Also looking at the water levels being higher at the time, it was said that the Acropolis had a statue of Athena that the early Greek sailors could see from the ocean. Posiedon was said to have been the one to have created the city of Atlantis. Now if we are talking this happened over 12 000 years ago. How old is the Parthenon and Ancient sites in Athens really? Is there a link between Athens, Egypt then possibly called Alexandria(Library of Alexandria) and Atlantis that we could be overlooking? The speak of Zeus and lightning, did they have discovered electricity back then? Farming olive trees, processing olive trees as olives cannot just be eaten raw. Irrigation for those farms? Posiedon providing water for the people? All these things could be lost in translation over 12 000 years of broken telephone. I have noticed that in some places of the Parthenon buildings, that the blocks are also closely joined and possibly the older ones dont even have mortar or cement holding them together. The ones that do could have been done through repair attemptss over time. There is also the mystery of the Antikythera mechanism which is evidence of a very advanced tool that was created back in its day. This also questions what was the level of technology they had. Most of that technology over 12 000 years would disintegrate by now

Jimmy, I was taking a university class on Japanese culture and history and a mystery stuck out to me. They are the Ancient Japanese Mozu Tombs. There are thousands of sacred ancient burial mounds in Japan called “kofun”. Hundreds of them are megalithic. There are at least 50 documented megalithic ones, the biggest one being “Daisenryo Kofun” in Sakai city, which has a larger surface area than the great pyramid. Next to the modern city’s large buildings, it looks gigantic. The large ones are very protected. No archaeologists, scientists, or tourists are allowed in as they are strictly controlled by the Imperial House. Nobody has been inside the large ones in thousands of years. They are now overgrown and covered by trees, but under the trees are giant, symmetric, intelligently designed compounds. There are other documented cases of megalithic stonework in Japan I’m sure you know about. The mainstream theory goes that early Japanese people slaved away for 20 years of hard labor to build these by hand as tombs for the emperors (sound familiar?). But nobody knows what is inside because nobody has been there. I think the story may be very similar to the pyramids. A later civilization stumbled upon them and used them as tombs, but they were created by a much older civilization for a different purpose. No doubt some of the smaller ones across Japan could have been built by hand, but these may just be examples of the modern civilization emulating the earlier civilization’s buildings. I believe some of the smaller ones have been excavated and came back with tomb artifacts, vases, jewelry but I don’t think anybody has been in the large megalithic ones. This is not my area of expertise, I am just a casual fan of the work by you, Graham Hancock and co. This may be worth an investigation because it could be more evidence of work done by an ancient, global advanced civilization. These tombs have piqued my interest. Please look into them.
