That's because Samsung saw how stupid buyers are. "There's no way people are stupid enough to buy a phone with no removable battery," then the iPhone did it and Samsung thought there's no reason to care. "There's no way people are so stupid that they'll spend money on a phone with no headphones jack and then spend another hundred dollars on Apple earbuds," and people sure did so Samsung copied. I don't blame Samsung for taking advantage of dumb buyers if it's what they want. They keep removing stuff and charging a premium and people keep buying.

Can see the white and black dots on the screen. Sadly, most projector lights don't last very long. I've had my in home projector replaced twice now in the past 3 years, because it keeps going out. I doubt they'll let me warranty it a 3rd time. The lights simply don't last more than a few years of consistent use. The little white and black spots on the projector image is due to the technology of the time, where it projects using hundreds of tiny mirrors within a chip that the light passes through (or reflects off of) to create an image, when these jam up they no longer display the image but a solid white or black instead.

Could you do a video on how you got the APK's on this device? I have some older phones I like to dink around with and it would be fun to see what they run!

i remember when this launches. and i saw it in stores. It was great ! and tbh it still is great. who doenst wants to show pictures on a phone with a projector instead of sharing a phone?

The answer to your question about the Zombie art by Jack Larson is that it's on all phones that run on the 2.3 Gingerbread software version , all phones that old cannot be updated especially ones that are discontinued such as that one.

My grandpa had this phone and let me play games on it, I'd also watch videos on the projector and it was awesome. He still has the phone but I don't think it works anymore

Pretty sure the motoralla moto had a projector attachment, as well as a speaker, and a dedicated camera too.

you can try to put a mirror and tilt it at a certain angle and point the projector at the mirror (it seems like this should help you)

With how compact tech is today, I am 100% certain a projector could be built into any modern phone without much extra space taken. Imagine the iPhone 16 having a 1080p or 4k projector built into the top... such a shame that this is considered a gimmick because to me a projector built into a phone still seems so futuristic. I mean having your alarm just appear on your wall in the morning like a TV is awesome. Even more so being able to instantly project your screen on the fly so you dont have to huddle around a small device. It seems kinda cyberpunk in a way. We need to petition a comeback of this tech. In my mind its in no way a gimmick and in fact it screams the "portability" and cool factor that a lot of other tech is going for these days.

Bro pulled up to O block with a Samsung Galaxy beam instead of a "A Glock wit da beam" as those urban individuals would say

I asked my friend to buy this Samsung Galaxy Beam from Singapore for me. Yeah, it's quite fun when you can surprise people with this too high tech phone at that time. But unfortunately the projector seem died after a few months. It can turn on but only white bright light, did not project anything anymore. I'm still so sad until now.

just got my hands on an xperia play smartphone and i think that would make an iinteresting video given the slide out cpntroller
@therunawaykid652311 ай бұрын
I had one of those briefly years ago but I sold it soon after as it had not much on board storage space plus because it had a slide out controller I found it way too bulky and heavy when I carried it in my pocket
@mortysmith219211 ай бұрын
@@therunawaykid6523 feel like it wouldn’t seem too bulky compared to modern smartphones though, and the storage problem can actually easily be solved with an as card

You should be able to plug in any usb controller mouse or keyboard into this phone using an OTG adapter. Even an usb floppy drive will work
