I love the fact that the Sharks are really just building from the ground up and putting together a group that grows together, from the management to the payers. It was a rough road to here, but the future is looking a bright teal.

So many people trashing ryan warsofsky cause of the lack of nhl experience don't understand how this stuff works. I am so glad we didnt buy into the coaching carosel (sp?). Glad for the Sharks but also glad that the NHL gets to see if a new coach can enter the league

This hire has me excited about the next chapter in Sharks history.

Why don't people understand that it was Quinns defense, and his system. Warsofsky has his own system he'll implement.

A lot of people read article titles but never read the article. This has a similar feel

He was the guy I wanted to eventually replace Quinn when Quinn was hired. I think it’s the perfect opportunity to have him grow with the team

I was a bit nervous that if he didn't get picked, he would look for another opportunity elsewhere, when he was brought in to eventually be a HC for the organization. Just seems it was accelerated because of how bad the coaching was last year.

I know we will probably never find out the specifics but I want to know what the players were saying about Quinn that got him fired. Can’t wait for next season!

There was an interview with Nico Sturm by Sheng Peng in which Sturm said players liked Quinn. It was most likely Grier and the front office that came to the conclusion that Quinn's time was done.
