Btw, "Sand" is a new upcoming game if anybody was wondering, I believe thats what the creator was trying to reference.

I was not expecting someone will notice it. :D I dont even know how to name it. Give me some ideas. I made it from "dieselpunk spider walker" chasis. I seen trailer of game "Sand" where players wonder on planet in walkers so. Why not make starter base like this?

First off, I _really_ like the way this thing looks. It's very cool, a big mech base. The interior looks good, like something you could actually live in. As for weapons, it isn't built for fighting a whole Space Pirate base, and that's fine. Those two turrets can defend against dangerous creatures, and on a planet without other enemies that's enough. From a practical point of view, this build suffers from the same problems that _every_ walking mech does in Space Engineers: the game isn't really designed for that kind of machine. It's slow, and the wobbling would literally make me sea-sick. If I was going to try and use this in survival, I would replace the legs with big wheels instead, which would kind of ruin the cool. That's not your fault, you did really well with setting up the legs and controls, it's just that mech legs are some of the most difficult things to make work in the game. I kind of like that the whole thing is grey. That way, every user can paint it the way they prefer.

i wonder if there is a "sealed" version, for sand planets without fresh air

I tried to make is sealed, but it would be inaccesible on top.

@@petrzacharias6622 You could do it, but it would probably add at least one whole layer of blocks to the height = more weight and bulk.

@@patrikhjorth3291You can actually try to modify it and show me your progress. If you reupload it on steam workshop, I have no problem with it if you mention original creation and Link to it.

@@petrzacharias6622 Sorry for the late reply. I don't actually play Space Engineers myself, I just enjoy watching and understand other people's builds. I think you could include a hatch of some kind in a way that would still let the user access the top of the vehicle, but like I said, that would probably require another layer of blocks, or a significant redesign in some other way. I suppose you could remove the ladder from inside, and have it or a staircase somewhere on the outside, but you would still have to move stuff around and change the compact layout.
