By the time I had progressed towards middle school and high school, in 2002 to 2003, TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY had completely removed VoTech programs like Home Economics, Welding, Auto Shop, Typing, and a whole lot of Blue Collar or skills based certification programs from urban and suburban areas heavily populated by Black n Brown children.
