Oh my Sorcery SARAH SANDERSON looks Gorgeous!! two sister's down one more to go, your mom did a fabulous job making the outfits, I wonder if she's making Isabella dress or Pepa. Have you seen Hextian fabulous job on Encanto Isabella? I drew Pepa free hand and she came out perfect just the way I want her to look I imagined Pepa's outfit (Mermaid silhouette), Sun earrings, fix her hairstyle a proper low braid with bandanna (maybe Elsa hairstyle or still with her swirl bangs), Cloud for the upper ruffle of dress with one gold sun, Sunflower petals as dress with rainbow swirls from on cloud working way down, raindrops on dress & the rainbow swirl then add tiny rhinestones matching the rainbow colors, three rings (one yellow rhinestone for right hand in third finger while left hand has one Butterfly ring in third finger and final one ring on the pinky finger) yellow nail polish, same blush like Isabella (resin metallic pigments yellow, orange, & red for sparkly magic blush) sunshine eyeshadow. You nailed her wide eyed, bewildered eyes so perfectly. I'm always curious, how do you decide which dolls you glue hair on to and which ones you go through the rooting process? I just love your art and your process just fascinates me!

Seems like longer hair gets rerooted and shorter hair gets glued yarn because short doll hair doesn't like to lay nice.

I think it not only has to do with the hair style, but also with the condition of the doll head. If the head is damaged in the hair area (ripped plug holes for example) or if the head is harder plastic. That's just my guess from what I have seen from Marina.

it depends mostly on a hairstyle I'm going for. Long locks look better on rerooted nylon or saran hair and short hair I always make out of soft yarn otherwise styling it will be a nightmare

My daughter has a small collection of Monster High dolls, she loves. A year ago, she asked for a simple Kimono dress -- No problem. This year she asked for a more form fitting outfit. She looks GORGEOUS Maryna! Excellent work. The one quibble is that I would love to see you start alternating/randomizing the curl direction when you do characters with natural curly hair such as on Sarah, Merida, etc. By wrapping some curls towards yourself and some away you get a much less "done" curling iron type result and it's more "wild" and natural looking!
