@Mr. Arcade Fox, is there a way to exchange the HORI Hayabusa stick and restrictor plate to a Sanwa or Seimitsu Stick and 8 way restrictor plate? And if so, do you have any tutorials on how to do it or do you offer services for that type of thing? Please respond, thanks
@mr.arcadefox8782 Жыл бұрын
Swapping out levers out of a case are fairly simple. However changing out specific parts for specific levers is not too straight forward due to them being made by different manufacturers. What case do you have now? Do you want your Hayabusa to have a Octo gate?

Super interesting. I'm one of the lucky Sanjuks V3 folks and would like to try one of these progressive springs, but obviously, don't need all the extra gates and such. They don't sell the springs by themselves do they? (I couldn't locate 'em)
@mr.arcadefox87822 жыл бұрын
Yeah unfortunately they are not sold solo as of yet. 😞

As of a week ago, Focus Attack broke up the kits and sell the gates, springs, and actuators separately.

Nice video. I am considering picking this up. Noob question but does it matter if I am using the stainless steel core for the Otto DIY v5? Should I go back to the stock core before trying this JLF mod kit?

which gate and spring is best for quarter circles? wave dashing in tekken?
@mr.arcadefox87822 жыл бұрын
Oh that’s a loaded question… lol. It’s very subjective. IMO I would recommend a K Lever for wave dashing in Tekken. On a J lever I personally use and like a square gate for quarter circles but that’s what I’m used to.
@broduto2 жыл бұрын
@@mr.arcadefox8782 I feel it. Funny enough, I've spent so much money on K levers and yes they are easier to wave dash on but I realized that the K levers are so forgiving and went back to the J Lever to clean up my inputs.

Don't listen to these bozos. I'm not a person to drive into social discourse, but those people saying your "gay fox" was distracting are silly. You did an amazing job describing all the parts of this missing kit and your opinions and input were great. Wish you the best Mr. Arcade Fox. Looking forward to your other content! And no... The fox was not distracting. If anything it added some nice contrast to the still shots of the modding parts.

You deserve more. Maybe more stuff about capkit..yoke..screen fix..kick harness.. Hyperspin..arcade with pc (or android if some can have an output vga 31k at least). Maybe also neo retro games..I discovered some really great recent games with 'best indie games'..Battle axe..Cotton..Deathsmiles reboot..Troubles witches neo..Take over..Madelyne.. I dont really have pleasure with real modern games..you need loggin..season pass..and the cd is nothing..you are not really owner..not like a real pcb..or even roms.

The Otto changes the friction of the pivot and makes it feel like butter. Honestly doing both is amazing but if you have to pick one. Do the Otto first.

Recently, Focus Attack is selling parts of the Sanwa JLF Mod kit. And the white actuator already existed on the old Sanwa JLF many years ago, and also on the Baolong clone.

The cardinal directions are smaller on the circle and octagonal gates, the percentages are just bigger because there is less total space than with a square gate. 11% of a square gate is bigger than 14% of the other 2
