I recently bought a Gregor Sahsa Doll this summer, and he now stands on my desk in my dorm room. He’s a very sweet looking doll and is nice to hug and brush his hair.

That’s a lovely video as an introduction to the very beautiful Sasha dolls, thank you! For info, the button nose (formerly called no nose) boy from the first Götz production in the video has a particular haircut where the back was very short so it hasn’t broken off as implied in the video. Dolls across the production do have some hair issues due to the composition of the hair used. The main FB group for collectors and enthusiasts is named ‘Sasha Morgenthaler Dolls’ and is home to a huge amount of expertise with members across the world. There are also several other groups formed by enthusiasts with various interests which can be enjoyable. We are lucky to have a very active and mutually helpful Sasha community, enjoying the dolls and their history. There is an annual Sasha Festival too!

What a lovely video. Such amazing information on these nice dolls. I remember collection the limited additions around 1996 and they came in the tubes and cost around £79 each. I reluctantly sold them on Ebay to buy an antique Bebe. But so, wish I had them still today. I love the doll who lost her panties!! ha!!!! that was so funny she was getting cheeky. Thankyou BellAnne for such an entertaining lesson. xx

What a fantastic film ! I have a Sasha doll from the early 1970s .It's the blond with the blue gingham dress .I was about 11yrs when I got her and I'm nearly 63 and I have her on show and love her very much 😍 I had to laugh when the doll like mine's knickers fell down as the elastic has gone on my doll's as well .😃 Never had any of the other outfits for her as they were too expensive .The tube she came in is long gone and I did cut off the little wrist tag but I'm sure it is around somewhere . I'm so pleased I found this film and am going to try and get one of the books .

Thank you for making this video this really had some great information. When you mention the books about the Sasha dolls you are not kidding they’re hard to get. I have the history of the dolls but, I have been trying to to get the two books on making the doll clothes. Still searching.

The were made in Stockport, England the part of the company producing the dolls became known as Trendon, but the earliest dolls (till 1970) were produced under the Frido umbrella of the company. So the dolls’ go from Frido to Trendon Sasha dolls’ Lovely video on my favourite Ever dolls 😁

When I worked at FAO Schwarz in the 90s, we carried the Sasha dolls that were produced by Gotz at that time. I kick myself that I didn’t buy a boy and a girl. And yes, learning with Belle Ann is fun 😊
