From my memory, they didn't just bump into each other. There was a time portal thing that he jumped through meeting the 10th. The War Doctor comes in later, and I believe it was all created by the weapon that was supposed to destroy Gallafray, which was trying to show The War Doctor his future self. 11 is objectively the best modern Doctor (12 comes close too, as Peter felt like a classic Doctor, but some of the writing let him down). He played the role to perfection, especially for someone whose first experience of watching the show was when he binge watched it after getting the part. He just defines what the Doctor is. However, subjectively, 10 will always be my Doctor, my favourite, the one who made me love the show. Irreplaceable. Can't wait for David's new episodes.

I refer to them that way since Tennant’s Doctor took two entire regenerations, which makes Smith’s the 12th. Although, in overall incarnations it makes Smith the 13th, since the War Doctor doesn’t count as a Doctor but is still an incarnation.

So Tennant is 10th Doctor, Smith is 11th and Capaldi is 12th. Do not confuse other people with wrong numbers. - There's 14 Doctors so far (Nscuti Gatwa coming soon as the 14th) - There's 15 faces - and there's 16 regenerations, but not all of them officially count as the proper Doctor. Actually Gatwa is going to be 17th regeneration, since the reveal of Tennant's regeneration inbetween Jodie and him.

And do you know what? So was I!" Nine talks about how much he wanted to travel with Rose. And maybe that he still will but it won't be him. The Doctor always has the same core values. Wanting to do good and protect humans. But his likes, dislikes, personality, feelings, and reactions ARE different with each regeneration. They are meant to be different people yet still familiar to the audience/companions.

Man... I remember watching this in the movie theater the day it released. It was the greatest movie going experience I've ever had. The most respectful audience I've ever seen. At any point you could hear a pin drop in the place. Every person that went was a diehard fan. Everyone caught every Easter egg at the same time, and complete standing ovation at the end. Man... this was such a great time in life. I've never watched it since. And I know nothing since then will measure up

Omg, I bet it was. Such a legendary show, with such a legacy. Wish I had been there. This has been one of my favorite shows since I was a kid. Just can't be bothered with the newer Doctors unfortunately... wish they would bring back Tennant, or Smith, Eccleston was great too, or someone equally excellent. Also the writing has gone down a bit. I don't mind the idea of a female Doctor, I actually think it might be fun to explore, it just needs to be done without showing down social dilemmas our throats.

I really wanted the 11th Doctor to have an adventure with the 10th Doctor and they delivered it so well. I loved the interactions, I loved how they had alot in common than you would think, and they did some other stuff that made this episode even better. Bad Wolf (back when Rose had the Time Vortex at the end of Series 1), having the Daleks in them (the most iconic antagonists of the franchise), and even the entire scene where the Clara convinces the 11th Doctor to save Gallifrey and the scene where all the past Doctors and the 12th Doctor come together to save their home, 11th Doctor meeting the Curator, and the ending scene with all the Doctors looking up at the stars. It was all a Chef's kiss to me. This is still my favorite Doctor Who episode to this day.
