Oh my! I had no idea Vanessa smoked! I just found out that Cheryl Tweedy/Cole smokes as well. That shocked me as well, because smoking is like kryptonite to singers and dancers! Speaking from experience in dance classes and music/choral classes, all of my teachers always tell us it will ruin our careers.

She's been tossed around in the music industry a lot in the UK, from S Club Juniors (which she isn't even allowed to talk about hah!) to being called "the hot one who can't sing" in The Saturdays so now she's got some thick skin and a strong head on her shoulders, but she's also had to fight to kinda stand out in the group.

Vanessa sounds good on this. Her voice did keep cracking during the rest of the AOL performances though and she has been inconsistent in their live performances lately. She's not as good as she once was. She's still a very good singer though.
