Regarding the Saturn/Pluto conjunction, I have seen a higher than average occurrence of “big” events in several people’s lives: sudden illness (leukemia), big job changes/opportunities and also restructuring of professional organizations-all on or near the actual conjunction. In addition, I believe that this transit is more of a long-term, intense “squeeze” than a big explosion....starting back in 2019.

When Martin Luther nailed the 95 theses to the door, it changed the world, but to everyone except those directly involved, life appeared to be going on like normal---the humongous change wouldn't affect everyone immediately. Same with the arrival of the Spanish in the New World. It would ultimately destroy the native governments but it didn't all roll out that first week. Huge changes come in like fog then go off like bombs later. You can only really see it in hindsight.

So well said, Suzanne Rose! One of my friends just lost her long battle with kidney disease, while several other friends of friends have passed or are getting close. Yet other friends are rebounding amazingly following surgeries and health challenges, taking amazing and wonderful trips, etc. I continue to work a slow, deep process of transforming my sense of my abilities, and the structures of my life. Love your comment. I can relate and entirely agree with what you said. This conjunction made significant aspects to my natal chart and my life hasn‘t been the same since. Changes are still continuing, more peaceful though, coloured by the respective transits.

For what it is worth, Capricorn is ascendant in my natal chart and I've gone through immense change ssince Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008, and Saturn entered Capricorn in 2017. I would have never known this unless I started studying astrology in the summer of 2018 and began listening to Acyuta in the fall of that year. Since this past September, I have been living with an injury that has kept me mostly bedridden. I am SO grateful for the perspective of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. It has provided me with a much larger stage within which to process and deal with hardship and healing. I honestly cannot imagine how I would have handled this without it.

Excellent explication of antiscia and the implications associated with it being expressed in Mars/Jupiter. I especially appreciated hearing how this aspect is subtle, hidden, or happening in stealth mode. Your latest comments here on Saturn/Pluto are spot on. I have expressed similar sentiments to those I have spoken to about this aspect. While the exactitude is complete, I liken it to being under the jurisdiction of this aspect throughout the rest of this year as Saturn separates from and then returns to Pluto for one last air kiss before moving on with his work in Aquarius.

To recognize Saturn Pluto dynamics, revisit the years between 1980 and 1984 on both the personal (assuming one is old enough) and the collective level to understand the transformative process it brings. For me the transformation began in December 2017 and is still working me over. The beginning of both the 80-84 one and this one began with the unexpected death of a loved one which triggered many deep personal changes.

Zencuda My ascendant is 13 Sag and my part of fortune 17 Cap, Mercury transiting exact my ascendant last few days and the obvious Capricorn soup we are all navigating. Currently negotiating a career change that uses my business experience but combines with spiritual wellness on a corporate level. Basically my dream job. I am excited for the Mar Jupiter anticia. In my natal chart Mars is in 1H trine with Jupiter 5H. Also Mars is and will be conjunct natal Jupiter. I am nearing the the omega point of about 13 month long deeply committed path of healing major wrongly healed physical traumas, leading to postural issues and energy blocks throughout my entire body. Much of these issues I know to have been with me since childhood. So of course Saturn & Pluto playing a roll in this also haha

Thank you for acknowledging the benefits of having lived through various transits --- aka being old! I've been reading astrology intensely since 1990 whe I was 40 years old. I have seen Pluto, to mention one typically intense transit, go through more than a few houses in my natal chart. Believe me, I don't ask, "Why has nothing happened?" I kinda hold my breath and hope for the best. And honestly, there's plenty going on in the news that's Saturn/Pluto.Hang in there everybody!

I have to say I’m a bit scared about this next week, especially now with Kobe Bryant. My dad just had surgery on the 16th and he is quite weak still. He has been back to the ER twice. Now this Mars/Jupiter Antisca on top of my Sun trining Pluto on the 27th in my 10th house (mom) and Saturn squaring Jupiter in my 4th house (dad) on the 28th. Ceres will also be right on top of my ascendant. Mary help my family. 🙏

Mine and my sister's health has gone downhill as Sat/Pluto moving into our 6th house. Threat of global war (Trump and Iran), global temps rising becoming so apparent with the fire crisis in Australia (in 1982-3) Saturn/Pluto in aspect was also when the Ash Wednesday bush fires. Monarchy changing. Who in the world would NOT see the intensity of Sat/Pluto. Others here cite the protests in Hong Kong/France. It is so 'in your face' for all that can see. And thanks to Acyuta-Bhava Das for the nuancing.

Maybe the reason why there is no perceivable results from the configuration in Capricorn is due to the fact that there is no reflective light except when the moon transits far enough to form an aspect and thatis the singular object beyond venus that we can see . Everybody is standing IS too close to the sun and to each other...

Hi Adam, the news of a new Coronavirus in China broke around the Saturn/Pluto conjunction. The news have been suppressed since December, but suddenly the spread of the illness is so rapid, it can no longer be contained. Right now, the whole province is completely locked down, it’s unprecedented. This pandemic could turn global, the conjunction would’ve marked the beginning of something big, I truly hope it’s not. I noticed that this time around, the people in Iran protested and blamed their own government instead of the Americans, which is in stark contrast to 1980, when the revolution was against us. I see this as a big shift, people changing up governments in a big way

As an observation , there was the big fire in Australia and the outpouring of love from the common folk and the corruption and uncaring self serving ness of those in politics exposed . There was also the emergence of climate change being criminally ignored by some politicians and extinction rebellion climate group being deemed and ‘ terrorist organisation yet others honouring their work . All this in an earth sign I would say it was pretty cataclysmic xxx

The way I look at it: there were themes in people's lives... though choices to be made, things that couldn't coexist in the previous way anymore, and the actual conjunction was like a needle's eye: what didn't get through it is now over, and what did will live on and need to be balanced anew. My best friend is getting divorced, I don't but will have to continue to work really hard on my marriage (Uranus in Taurus, remember? 😊) , my colleague all through 2019 seemed to have to choose between the new job and a baby, and she ended up with the new job ànd is pregnant... 😊 Yeah, a needle's eye it was.

So say Mars will conjunct natal sun on that day while Jupiter is exactly sextiling natal Jupiter.
