Brother, in Islam, all Muslims are equal and those are better who are pious. So, I think claiming priviliges in the name of Sayyeds or Al- Ashraf is demanding priority over others. We must know that all human beings are the sons and daughters of prophet Adam alehsalam. On your analogy, there has developed a class of people in Pakistan and India who consider themselves Leaders and demand respect and privileges.

Assalamu Alaykum. Thank you for your comment. What benefit or privilege did we ask for? It was even stated in the video that a pious non-Sayyid is better than a non-pious Sayyid. However, the narrations where Rasulallah (S) asked for his progeny to be honored are plentiful are numerous. If Rasulallah (S) wants his progeny to be prioritized for his sake, what is the issue?

Didn't Allah (SWT) himself prefer and prioritise certain nations above others in the Holy Qur'an due to his favoring them? Surah Aal-Imran Verses 33-34 : ۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصْطَفَىٰٓ ءَادَمَ وَنُوحًۭا وَءَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَءَالَ عِمْرَٰنَ عَلَى ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ ٣٣ ذُرِّيَّةًۢ بَعْضُهَا مِنۢ بَعْضٍۢ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ ٣٤ "Indeed, Allah chose Adam, Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of ’Imrân above all people. They are descendants of one another. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing" We condemn people who use their being a Sayyid (if proven) for purposes of worldly benefits and corruption.
