That person had no shame for what they have done, none at all. From what you have shared with us, their tone is utterly unapologetic. They instead tried to make themselves into the victim in this situation. They told you their sad story and made a claim of threats, the only "apology" you got was a "sorry it didn't meet your expectations" 😒 I doubt they learnt from this at all and will likely continue on doing this. I just hope people will be more careful or avoid these boxes in the future so people like this do not get a cent more then they already have.

She’s been in contact with ebay, and they’re dealing with it. She took the hit because she knew she was buying an item that shouldn’t have been allowed to be listed. It was a total gamble that she agreed to when she purchased it. I’m not saying it’s right but I think she handled it fairly, and ebay are now cracking down on mystery boxes which will stop others being scammed.

In another video I think she said some people found the listing she bought even though she had no clue how considering eBay hides the things that are sold very well. I once had an eBay seller find my contact details in the phone book and call my dad to say I left him a bad review and I needed to change it. Like no. I gave you a bad review because the "like new" DVD you sent me looks like it was cleaned with a scouring sponge. EBay gave me a refund but he got no punishment unless I was willing to sue him for stalking my family.

My biggest concern is this: yes you email and resolve this with eBay and then the seller is punished. However, they still have your address do they not? Not saying this person is this kind of person but we do not know. But say this person makes a living off scamming and they get shut down. It can become violent is all that I worry about.

I feel like for the sake of fun for the buyer, if they want to do mystery boxes they should have to send them to eBay complete with appraisal of the items, then eBay sells them on their behalf. That would be pretty cool actually, and stop the scams. The seller information should even say "eBay verified" or something. People could still do it, it would just be heavily monitored.

I love Bunny and her general attitude to life but I cannot agree with her decision here. She says she does not condone scamming however does not wish the seller be reprimanded for their actions? Leaving them free to scam others? I would like to think there is a difference between being positive and seeing the good in people and just being plain naive. Those people targeted her and set out to steal! That is not ok. Regardless of the cost it was Bunny’s responsibility to ensure they are properly reprimanded. Very disappointing.

Like at Disney they have $20 mystery boxes they contain a Disney item if you bought it and opened it and there was a dirty Cartoon Network cup inside then that would be a scam. That would not be your fault. You purchased a box expecting an unknown Disney figure worth $20 not a Cartoon Network cup that was dirty. Services such as tinker crate are mystery boxes with an expectation of having an unknown science craft done. If it contained coloring books. It would be a scam. This was not bunny’s fault. It was not what was described. This was truly a scam. Even stating they put the box together after it was purchased makes it a scam.

Dear Swamp Family, I think we should all keep in mind that we as human beings, are unique and different in many ways. Bunny has shared with us that she is not very confrontational. I myself try to minimize confrontation as much as possible (my reasoning being anxiety and Bunny's may be the same or different) so we should keep in mind that Bunny resolved the issues as BEST that she could. As she stated, she was fully aware that she was purchasing an item that could be a SCAM. I think what angered the swamp family (you guys) the most was the condition the box was in and the fact that the box seemed targeted. We should all be very upset at that particular issue of the story but we shouldn't be upset with Bunny over the way SHE deals with confrontation (aka the way she dealt with the issue). We don't all respond the same to situations like this. At the end of the day we did get to experience some crazy drama with Bunny and it was both entertaining and it felt like we were all truly involved and affected. Personally for me, not many KZbinrs make me feel involved and get me to really care about their issues but Bunny has made is so we all feel connected to her and one another. Plus, we can't deny that drama can be pretty enjoyable sometimes and Bunny made it pretty damn enjoyable! That being said I think we all learned the most important and valuable lesson in this saga. DON'T BUY MYSTERY BOXES ON EBAY (or purchase at your own risk, but you've been severely warned)! Love, Fellow Swamp Family Member.

Yes, the hair dryer and the baby doll was just too on the nose. This person either immediately knew who she was from her eBay username (I have no idea what it is or whether it reveals she is this KZbin user), has watched her videos in the past, and chose those items, or they looked her up based on her eBay username and spent a decent chunk of time watching videos to discover her love for hair dryers (her baby doll admiration would be clear from the background of early any video) and then picked out the items. The latter is far more disgusting and vindictive, but they acted heinously either way.

Do you honestly believe Ebay will not seek recompense for the refund they gave Bunny? I am pretty sure their legal team will have been informed. Hollie Gjoen I have a feeling that Bunny/Grav3yard girl had a similar username on eBay so the scammer/seller got curious and looked her up, found her videos in case she told everyone about their bad business practice, then was like "oh crap I'm gonna get banned and won't be able to scam anymore, I'll give her a fake sob story so she won't be as mad"

I can definitely understand how people become jaded. I've also been scammed. I try to avoid situations where that may happen and should it happen anyway, it feels better to let it go rather than let it fester. I know a scammer won't be affected by my emotions. I and my family will be though. Should a friend get scammed then I'll be there to support them. There is so much tragedy in my recent life, I'm glad I can do something like this for myself. If you've been scammed and need support, I'm your gal!
