Friend proposed it's a trans allegory. Ben really felt good being Feedback but was constantly told not to use him too much (like society enforcing folks to so-called "social norms") until someone (Malware) finally decided to stop him from good. Traumatized by the experience, Ben disassociated and gave up on that but it wasn't until he forgave himself and found strength to face that trauma again that he became himself once more and turned into Feedback again, and since then, he's been using Feedback a whole lot more to the point that he was the one alien that was saved the entire universe at the finale

But ben using feedback was less about truly expressing himsekf and more about indulging too much in the power of that one alien. He didn't understand monderation

Problem is, We do have an explanation for the feedback case even if it comes out of the show, and it comes from Duncan Himself The Omnitrix fuses the alien dna with a bit of Ben's dna to keep his conscious functioning normally, with only 2 exceptions as far as we know, Ghostfreak and Feedback who are known as full blown aliens as said by Duncan The reason to why feedback was different is not only cause ben really liked the alien, but also cause it wasn't 100% himself, the conductoid DNA also had part of the control in a much less extreme Ghostfreak situation which not even Ben knows about as he can't explain why it felt different given the conductoid DNA never fought back like Zs'skayr

Unfortunately I'll have to debunk the Nega Ben 10 theory... really unfortunately, cause I like the theory. We actually know a lot about him, from Fans directly asking the producers. Here's what we know (all were noted by the Ben 10 Wiki): - Nega Ben likes kale chips and espresso smoothies.[DJW 4] - Nega Ben does not fight villains or use the Negatrix for personal gain.[DJW 5] In fact, he does literally nothing with his Negatrix.[DJW 6] - If Nega Ben had access to Alien X, he wouldn't even bother to argue with Bellicus and Serena. He would just mock or ignore them.[DJW 7] - If Nega Ben turned into either Rath or Atomix, he would retain his dour personality in either form.[DJW 8] - Nega Ben's version of Gwen is a cheerleader[DJW 1] with strawberry-blonde hair[DJW 9] of average intelligence. However, she acts less smart than she really is.[DJW 10] - Nega Ben's version of Kevin is pretty jockish, has bleach blonde hair, and is well-tanned. Much like his Prime Timeline counterpart, Kevin is dating Gwen.[DJW 11] - Nega Ben's version of Azmuth and the Galvan race were wiped out after the creation of the Negatrix by a rogue Celestialsapien coerced by Maltruant.[DJW 12] - Derrick J. Nega Ben 10 seems to just be a parody character, they wouldn't make some impactful backstory like that, as he's a walking pun with "edgy teenager emos" that were so popular at the time of Omniverse being aired... and as toxic as you'd imagine.

Some people forget why characters like Albedo do a complete 180 from previous series to Omniverse it's because most if not everything Ben recreated as Alien X was done from his memory of everything including his Villains which means characters who had a chance to change didn't because Ben only saw them as Villains and that's what they became this gets backed up more because of Ben not getting a Mr. Smoothie flavour right which means he had control over what everyone was and how they live their lives and he might not even know it.

I have a theory that should be considered canon but the Ben 10 fandom can't seem to agree even though it makes perfect sense. Everytime Ben gets a new watch, that is when his future changes. Sounds simple and makes sense but because the OV future is supposed to be the same as the classic future, people think Ben 10,000 in the classic series is the same as Ben 10,000 in Omniverse, but also dismiss the idea that Ultimate Ben is the same as Ben 10,000 in either classic or Omniverse. While everyone can agree they Ultimate Ben is different from both versions of Ben 10,000 I seem to be the only one who thinks the two Ben 10,000s are different.

Since the series itself didn't delv much into the other Bens I have my own headcanons for em. Back in the classic series when Ben first met Kevin he was given the choice to join Kevin in getting the cash from crashing a money train into a passenger train. Our Ben didn't like the idea of hurting the passengers, but in other timelines they may've been more ok with it. This the start of Ben & Kevin's partnership in crime. According to my own headcanons, this timeline later splits again when someone approaches them to betray eachother. In the timeline where Kevin ultimately betrays Ben, Nega Ben is born. In the timeline where Ben betrays Kevin, we instead get Bad Ben. And for anyone happening to wonder, my headcanon for Benzarro is he's from the universe where Ghostfreak won at the end of classic season 3 and corrupted the earth where as Mad Ben came from a timeline where at the end of the Highbreed war Ben successfully destroyed that portal but it destroyed the earth and may've fried his brain a bit. Of course I'm sure creator statements contradict some of this. It is just headcanon after all.

What if Nega Ben WAS a hero trying to live up to Max’s ideals. But became what he became out of pure apathetic loneliness..he got tired of it so while he was living up to Max’s slandered,it didn’t make him feel anything…until the forever knights. While facing them he accidentally kills one…it made him feel something. So now ALL of Ben’s villains are either dead,reformed out of respect or fear(Kevin,Argit,the rioters) and or not targeting earth due to the legends of the one who killed Vilgax. OH and he eliminated the plumbers out of spite that the one he was being good for (max) lied to him for 10 years. So yeah with Ben being the sole protector of earth and everyone being scared shitless of him it’s a relatively peaceful planet. The crime rate might as well be zero and the universe is safe cause most are to terrified to commit a single act of evil. Think of my Nega Ben timeline as the timeline from DCs Batman last knight on earth kind of vibe wise but instead of evil psycho Batman vs Batman clone it’s more Batman broke his one rule and couldn’t stop breaking it

If you notice the classic Ben 10k used xlr8 as his main alien of choice an alien species that ages at an extremely rapid rate only living for 6 earth days if I remember correctly and the only future Ben without gray in his hair is ultimate Ben a version of Ben who can use powers of his aliens in human form and the one who fuses his aliens ov Ben 10k has less gray than the classic Ben 10k. So the omnitrix is working as intended since Azmuth probably didn't make it so the omnitrix expands the life span of an alien species you transform into. Also don't we literally see the Highbreed who got "blown up" with the null void grenade in the season 2 finale of alien force.

as odd as it sounds, i actually prefer emo ben having no backstory, because while it's just me projecting an idea i find interesting onto this blank character, i like the idea of a ben who isn't technically evil, but just doesn't care. an actually villainous ben, while able to destroy the world, realistically won't because that isn't gonna accomplish much, while a ben who's just bord and will do whatever to kill time, that's another story.

I’ve got one. It’s actually more of a fact when you think about it. Here’s mine: Ben didn’t save anyone. When he re-creates the universe, he makes an almost exact duplicate. So that means that his original universe was destroyed and everyone in it died. But that new universe that he made is a separate one from his original universe. So, in the canon of Ben 10, everyone died. Of course, Professor Paradox, Eon, The Forge of Creation, and Ledgerdomain don’t count since those are all outside of time.

That unironically sounds pretty legit, but the issue is that Ben is acting very mature in several episodes even as late as the second half of Omniverse. A more reasonable idea would be that they tag out regularly and have coordinated "sync up"-meetings when they briefly recombine to make sure they keep the same amount of memories as each other.

I think the idea of the Omnitrix aging Ben quicker could be plausible but not in that way exactly. We see that classic Ben 10,000 uses XLR8 almost 24/7. We know that Kinecelerans age much faster than humans do on their home planet, with entire lifetimes going by in a few weeks. Now of course XLR8 like all of the aliens is scaled to Ben’s age, but I could believe that using XLR8 so much could make him age faster regardless. I don’t subscribe to that theory but I could see it being true.

Future Bens white hair is basically just Ben understess. 1. He has his family to worry about 2. The galaxy and galactic Conflicts to worry about. 3. His own planet. 4. His personal life. 5. I love the theory that feedback is an adicive / drug allien for Ben , total sense why he was so distraught ,after using Feedback , and kept it a secret from rook , and then Ben even says to rook , ,,i don’t know why I liked being feedback so much he just felt different,, so yes I agre 100% with this theory

I have to disagree on Nega Ben theory. You are telling me that Max the best plumber in the galaxy died to a forest fire hell No. It's too silly to me Maybe Max and gwen did indeed die but not to a freaking forest fire. Maybe vilgax because ben encountered Vilgax at the very beginning of his journey
