I've been complaining about this for years with the buzzer system. Its unbelievable we are required to launch ourselves like this onto an inflatable with poles and netting etc.. behind the start gate. Its unreal. I've seen too many guys get hurt doing this (Rabackoff and KFed included) and this almost ended in a tragedy. I MUCH rather preferred the flag to gate system. Yes, there was no electronic confirmation, but its for the safety of the players. Common. Well done Kid.

Could easily be accomplished with RFID chips and a reader nowadays.

This was against the rules for a bit, you couldn't launch overtop of it, you could move it to the front or put 2 buzzers on the sides near the top but they won't.

We sign waivers before being allowed to play. On the bright side the player is doing well and going to play in Europe NXL this week. He was at practice last weekend and he didn’t skip a beat. He is tough as nails and young
