This is one of the most haunted jails in the world, the old Lavaca County jail was the longest operating jail in Texas, housing inmates for over 150 years. In the earlier days no one knows what really went on within its walls, rumors say that prisoners were kept in harsh conditions, tortured, and even sometimes killed whenever the sheriff at the time saw fit. With energy like that inside its no wonder its super haunted, over the years people who come here have seen shadows, heard voices and footsteps, seen objects move by themselves and even been threatened and hurt by the spirits… We have come here with Colin from The Paranormal Files to see for ourselves if all of these stories are true…

This was one of the best episodes! It had a mixture of comedy, creepy, and good friends taking care of each other. For example concerned about Colin and his insulin and getting spooked in the jail cell, Wyatt stepped in front of Ryan when Ryan said he was scared as they were going up the stairs. I was born the night of the flood you mentioned in the beginning. In a tiny town in a neighboring county, not far away. It was Tropical Storm Katrina, I believe. The water was so high, the midwife had to catch a ride in a lifted truck to my parents' home. Crazy story!

Oh my god!!! This episode was wicked!! When you were talking to the ladies, my wife had come into the room and I paused the video for a moment and was talking to her, for some reason out of the blue, I thought about my sister telling me she was going to come see my new house. Now I'm not really close to her at all. So the fact that this thought hit me all of the sudden, was strange because she had said it months ago. But the weirdest part is that her name is Natalie! I turned the video back on and I shit you not, that's when the name Natalie was said!!!!!! I immediately got chills! Still have them!! I absolutely love you guys! Next time you try something like locking yourselves alone in cells, come up with a safe word (something completely out of place like "Christmas" or another odd word) so anyone listening will know if you need help right away. Shouting "guys, guys" won't always work. As you do this more in the future you'll become braver and it will be harder to tell 'reaction' from genuine danger, a safe word is your lifeline.
